Kicking Off Another Trading Week, New Plays

Recapping Friday’s Performance :

We posted good numbers all week last week, and that trend was unchanged for the options trading ideas we offered up in Friday morning’s premarket report. We had ventured possible strike areas in three separate chains, and came back with some favorable results on the day. Even on days where the earnings calendar doesn’t provide us with many opportunities, we always seem to manage.

That trio of plays from Friday consisted of the ULTA Weekly $425-427.50 Calls, the AFRM Weekly $14-15 Calls, and the HIBB 09/15 $40 Calls. Here were the intraday runs we witnessed in each of the contract sets therein:

Excellent Start to the Week:

We got the trading week off to exactly the kind of start we like yesterday, with a slate of big name options ideas in our premarket report. We were on fire, formulating four fresh plays, all of which not only posted big moves yesterday but look to be poised for another session of gains. That won’t stop us from generating a whole new list of fresh ideas for today though, and we have some big earnings reports coming down the pipe.

Friday’s Forceful Finish:

We really did a great job of closing out a nearly perfect trading week with another straight sweep of all of our fresh trading ideas for Friday’s premarket report. We put out a slate of four possible plays, all bearish, and came back with some darn good intraday results even in the face of a fairly bullish day for the markets as a whole. Everything worked, producing positive intraday runs across the board.

Our tracked targets were the SPY 08/18 $435-434 Puts, the TSLA Weekly $217.50-215 Puts, the EL Weekly $155-150 Puts, and the KEYS Weekly $135-130 Puts, and here were the figures they posted for us on the session:

Once again we’re heading into the end of another excellent trading week in our favorite way, by reporting a successful sweep of the selections from our premarket report on Thursday. Not to mention offering a fresh slate of earnings plays that we hope we’ll be proud of come Monday morning. We’ve kept up an amazing streak of winning picks this whole earnings season, and we’ll try hard to keep that going, as always.

Things played out very much like we suspected they would on Friday, as we capped off an exceptional trading week with some solid options ideas. We came up with a pair of quick-strike plays, as well as a couple of longer-term targets with September expirations. Both of the weekly ideas we floated ended up posting some pretty good intraday upswings.

Those ideas were the NVDA Weekly $420 Puts and the IONQ Weekly $14.50-15 Calls, and each of them produced the following multibag gain possibilities on the day:
