Monday’s Movers, Fresh Slate of Ideas

Nice Start to the Trading Week:

Things got off to a pretty good start for the week yesterday, after all of the plays we signaled in our premarket report posted good gains on the session. We didn’t have anything to go on with respect to earnings reporter, but we made do, and things worked out just fine. Today, we have a much better earnings calendar to work with, with several big name reporters dropping their figures.

As for yesterday’s slate, our daily targets, the COIN Weekly $74-75 Calls, the SPY 10/16 $432-434 Calls, and the DOCU 10/27 $42 Calls, all fared reasonably well, recording the following intraday moves on the day:

A Perfect Friday, New Plays for Today

Friday’s Clean Sweep :

We closed out last week’s activity with a stellar performance on Friday, as we signaled four possible options plays in our premarket report, and each of them turned out a very nice performance. We had a burst of earnings reporters to work with just shy of the next earnings season which should be ramped up and ready for us to take advantage of by next week. We’re back to a very thin list this morning, but we’ll still figure out some high potential targets like always.

Last week was a short trading week that did not exhibit the sleepy characteristics that holiday weeks can sometimes display. We were on point with our options trading ideas all week long, and we capped off that excellent run in Friday morning’s report with four ideas that all made some really good intraday swings. It was a big day for options yesterday, with a huge slate of earnings reporters leading us to formulate a larger-than-usual field of potentials. We offered up SIX fresh trading possibilities in our premarket report, and all six turned in some really nice intraday performances. We went mostly bearish on the day, with just one set of calls to five sets of puts. The results were very pleasing, and it’s a heck of a great way to close out a short trading week!

Options Runners From Thursday:

We fared quite well during yesterday’s session with regard to the options ideas we formulated for our daily premarket report. Out of five potential targets, four produced sizable moves in a positive direction on the day. Four out of five isn’t bad at all, especially when one of those produced runs that blew right past the 1000% mark like it was standing still!

Those incredible, mammoth runners came from our targets in the Carvana chain, the CVNA Weekly $18.50-19.50 Calls , and the other ideas in question were the SIG Weekly $64-62 Puts, the SMAR 06/16 $40 Puts, and the GME Weekly $21.50-20.50 Puts.
