Options Review, EXLA News Update

Markets Rip, Options Go Along for the Ride:

We kicked off the fresh trading week yesterday morning bowling nothing but strikes on the options front. Our premarket report for the day included a trio of fresh potential plays, and thanks in part to a majorly bullish session for the markets in general, we saw immediate results in all three.

We were targeting the SPY 01/31 $439-440 Calls, the BABA Weekly $116-117 Calls, and the ATKR 02/18 $105-110 Calls. The SPY targets fared the best, but everything else also posted some highly respectable figures on the day. Those intraday ranges and total possible profits were as follows:

SPY 01/31 $439-440 Calls

Reviewing Hot Stock Plays:

Our primary order of business this morning is to switch gears from options trading for just a moment in order to rehash the winning performances of recent stock calls we’ve made.

We’ve been trying to stay as occupied as possible while breaking from our typical focus on options plays due to the dearth of earnings reporters. We generally prefer to trade options directly following their quarterly figures release due to the heightened volatility it provides.

We have been making do with the opportunities that do present themselves, and we found three such opportunities in MRIN, MWWC, and PBYA. The following tables will present the date and link to our initial alert, the subsequent trading ranges, and total potential profits that were available as a result:

Marin Software, Inc. MRIN
Alerted:
 June 24th
Range: 2.56-27.26
Gained: +965%
_____

Probability Media Corp. PBYA
Alerted: June 11th
Range: .0014-.0102
Gained: +629%
_____

Marketing Worldwide Corp. MWWC
Alerted: July 6th
Range: .0089-.0175

Big OTC Gainers, Options Plays

Options Review:

Half of our fresh bullish options ideas yesterday morning worked out well with solid intraday runs. Not bad, considering the markets as a whole took a dive and provided zero push.

Those ideas were the  CAN 06/18 $7.50-10.00 Calls which fared exceptionally well, and the BABA Weekly $222.50-227.50 Calls which struggled early on in the session, but had a change of fortune around midday and finished having posted some respectable moves.
_____

CAN 06/18 $7.50-10.00 Calls
$7.50:
1.71-3.76 (+120%)
$10: .60-1.90 (+217%)
_____

BABA Weekly $222.50-227.50 Calls
$337.50: 1.21-1.97 (+63%)
$340: .74-1.24 (+68%)
$342.50: .49-.77 (+57%)
_____

Fresh Options Ideas:
ZM Weekly $327.50-332.50 Calls
APPS Weekly $67.50-69 Calls

OTC Updates:

All American Pet Co. AAPT – Most of our regular readers already know that while our primary focus these days is on making fast money with short-term options ideas, we still tag OTC stocks for observation daily in our “Extended Watchlists”. There’s often a runner among our highlighted lists, and over the past week that distinction has belonged to AAPT.

Following our signal on the stock a week ago today, at which time AAPT traded for as little as .0053 per share, it has gone on an impressive tear that led to a new high of .0129 to start off the fresh trading week yesterday. That works out to a four-session upswing of 143%
_____

New World Gold Corp. NWGC – Another OTC play we’ve been tracking is NWGC. We tagged it roughly three weeks back on May 7th, and following that report the stock would see a low of .0033 before running to this week’s stellar new high of .0285. That represents a big increase of 763%
