Monday’s Runners, Fresh Slate of Ideas

Good Start to the Holiday Week:

Things got off to a really good start to kick off the holiday-shortened trading week yesterday. We included a couple of quick strike options plays and a couple of longer-term ones to watch with December expirations in our daily report. While those extended term plays will need some more time to materialize, we got some very nice intraday movement and subsequent gain chances with our weekly calls.

We formulated the FUTU Weekly $50-52 Calls, and the DIS Weekly $98-101 Calls as our daily targets and the results were solid. FUTU was far away the hotter play, posting significant multibag runs on the day. Here’s how those broke down:

FUTU Weekly $50-52 Calls
$50:
 1.55-4.85 (+213%)
$51: 1.04-3.90 (+275%)

DIS Weekly $98-101 Calls
$98: 1.19-2.00 (+68%)

Friday’s Big Movers, Slate of Fresh Plays

Friday’s Big Winners:

First thing’s first- we can’t kick off a fresh trading week without first circling back to our slate of options ideas that we included in Friday morning’s premarket report. We served up a grouping of five separate ideas for our readers, and there were excellent chances for intraday gains pretty much all the way across the board.

We had put a pin into the SPY 11/18 $395-397 Calls, the JD Weekly $57.50-59 Calls, the ROST Weekly $111-114 Calls, the PANW Weekly $166.67-172.50 Calls, and the FL Weekly $36.50-38 Calls. With only the exception of the FL $36.50-37 Calls, which were too far in the money to experience much activity, all of the rest of our targets put forth some rather respectable intraday runs.
