A Good Start to the Week, 4 Fresh Ideas

Monday’s Options Runners: 

We kicked things off for the week on a good note yesterday. Another day, another excellent performance for potential options trading targets we highlighted in our premarket report. Out of the four target sets we chose to put on our watchlist, three of those came back with some highly respectable intraday gain opportunities.

Our winning targets were the SPY 01/09 $389-391 Calls, the CMC 01/20 $50 Calls, and the FISV Weekly $100-102 Calls. Out of those three, the SPY was definitely the way to go for the biggest gain chances on the day. Here’s the breakdowns of the kinds of moves we witnessed:

Friday’s Big Winners:

First thing’s first- we can’t kick off a fresh trading week without first circling back to our slate of options ideas that we included in Friday morning’s premarket report. We served up a grouping of five separate ideas for our readers, and there were excellent chances for intraday gains pretty much all the way across the board.

We had put a pin into the SPY 11/18 $395-397 Calls, the JD Weekly $57.50-59 Calls, the ROST Weekly $111-114 Calls, the PANW Weekly $166.67-172.50 Calls, and the FL Weekly $36.50-38 Calls. With only the exception of the FL $36.50-37 Calls, which were too far in the money to experience much activity, all of the rest of our targets put forth some rather respectable intraday runs. With yesterday morning’s premarket report, it marked at least the third straight session where targets in the SPY chain have been our primary focus. We have been inclined to take the bearish path over this span, and have been rewarded for our efforts each and every day.

Yesterday we had zeroed in on the SPY 09/21 $386-385 Puts, and another of our potential plays, the APOG 10/21 $40-45 Calls also recorded some really good activity for us, including an absolutely mind-bending 1800% runner!
