Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TSN Recap & More

Tyson Foods Inc. TSN – Update

We started the week off yesterday by formulating some options ideas for TSN. The company had a mixed earnings call, with a beat on Q3 profits, and a miss on sales. We pointed to the technical setup of the chart as our primary reason for being interested, and as it turns out we called the bottom perfectly.

We came up with a short and longer term set of ideas, and while we may yet come back to the long terms, we are looking at the weekly calls we designated today after some solid performances. Those were the TSN Weekly $58-59.50 Calls, and all but the $58′s produced double-bag gains on the session.

$58.50 Calls – Range: .90-2.25 – Max Gain: 150%
$59 Calls – Range: .80-1.68 – Max Gain: 110%
$59.50 Calls – Range: .75-1.50 – Max Gain: 100%

Fresh Options Ideas

Our success with options over the past several weeks has been so pronounced, we see absolutely no reason to stop now, especially being in the thick of another earnings season. We’ve got another pair of earning related options ideas to bring to the table today.

Etsy, Inc. ETSY Weekly $40-50 Calls
Zillow Group, Inc. Z Weekly $48-49 Calls

Extended Watchlist:
TIS, NPTN, RNG, ACRX, MNK, EKSO, VCEL, TWLO

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BLNK, Bottom-Play & More

Blink Charging Co. BLNK

We signaled our interest in BLNK in yesterday morning’s premarket report via the Extended Watchlist, and we’re happy to report on what was a very productive first day of observation.

From a low of 4.34, BLNK made a highly respectable intraday run to 6.34, marking an intraday push of 46% Prior to Monday’s session, wherein the stock picked up in a big way, it had been trading sideways for quite some time. We will be interested in monitoring this play for the possibility of a more sustained uptrend in the days ahead.

Gogo. Inc. GOGO

We want to also bring some attention to the massive selloff which has occurred over the past three trading days. After trading for nearly $10/share, a disappointing earnings release and subsequent Moody’s downgrade has precipitated close to a 50% drop, leaving GOGO trading at just above $5.

We’re going to want to put this one on intensive bottom-watch, as we prepare for possible course correction leading to a bounce play opportunity.

Fresh Options Idea:
Trip Advisor, Inc. TRIP Weekly $45.50 & $46 Calls

Extended Watchlist:
UURAF, TRXC, PLUG, LC, MNKD, GRPN, ICHR, TWLO

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Weekly Wrap-Up, Options Plays & More

Marijuana Company of America, Inc. MCOA

Following today’s session, we will have been tracking MCOA’s movements for exactly one month. When we first began talking about this play in early October it was trading in the subpenny range (.0094), and the results of one heck of a bullish month carried the stock to nearly twenty cents!

We had already seen a rise leading up to yesterday morning’s update on the stock of 1200% but the epic run wasn’t finished. The stock traded in a daily range from a low of .083 and hit an incredible new high of .1985 before tapering off into the close. That worked out to an intraday run of 139%

From our observed low it measures as a one-month overall upswing of 2011% which is one of the largest gainers we’ve bagged all year where stocks are concerned (Our options calls reach percentage gains of more than 1000% fairly routinely).

Galenfeha, Inc. GLFH

Also continuing its multi-day run yesterday was GLFH, which we brought to the table on Monday morning. It has now officially appeared in every report we’ve published for the entire week, on the strength of yet another solid performance yesterday.

We said early on that we’d be looking for GLFH to be a slow and steady riser over these four sessions; it has made gains every day but never exceeding 35%, and yesterday’s move was no exception. What it has done, is maintain those advances and kept piling one on top of the other.

The stock traded in a range from .055-.069 yesterday, for an intraday increase of 25%, and measuring from our observed low of .026, the total intraweek run its posted comes out to a highly respectable 165%

It’s rare that stocks see multi-day runs exceeding three days, so at this point, we’ll begin to ready ourselves for a consolidation that could come at any time.

Fresh Options Ideas

Our incredible success with numerous stocks this week dictated that we shy off of the options trading arena for a few days, but it’s high time for us to enter some ideas into the mix this morning. For both of the following plays, we’ll submit a weekly target* (expiring today) as well as one for next week, just in case these stocks put together multi-day increases of their own.

TWLO Weekly $32-35 Calls & 11/11 $35-36.50 Calls

SBUX Weekly $52-53 Calls & 11/11 $53.50-55 Calls

*Dabbling in weekly options contracts on a Friday should not be attempted by anyone except expert traders!

___

Lands End, Inc. LE

On the chart below, we’ve pointed out the various reasons for why we like it from a technical perspective. Additionally, we always like to track a wide range retail stocks as the holiday shopping season approaches, and it fits the bill in that regard as well.

We’ve got an extended-term options idea for this one, with the LE 12/16 $12.50-17.50 Calls.

Extended Watchlist:
EXCC, ELED, MMEG, PLPL, FCEL, FEYE(Bottom-Bouncer)

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Hot Options Calls & More

Bank of America Corp. BAC

Yesterday, for the second consecutive trading day, the BAC options idea we floated on Tuesday morning yielded the opportunity for solid intraday gains. The BAC Weekly $12.50 and $13 Calls produced the following chances:

$12.50 Calls – Range: .49-.74 – Max Gain: 51%
$13 Calls – .16-.34 – Max Gain: 113%

As we’ve been saying from the word go, if BAC can jump the 13.50 hurdle, we’ll be looking to roll up our strike price, and today might very well be the day it occurs. The stock traded as high as 13.48 in post-market trading yesterday, and the markets in general appear to be in line for another solid session.

To remain interested in our ideas going forward, we’ll need to see BAC hold support above 13.15 on any pullbacks.

More Options Recaps

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) - The SPY was one of a pair of fresh ideas we put in yesterday’s morning report, and with the strong daily performance of stocks across the board, the SPY Weekly $204-206 Calls we signaled enjoyed some huge multi-bag moves:

$204 Calls – Range: 1.45-3.20 – Max Gain: 121%
$205 Calls – Range: .87-2.29 – Max Gain: 163%
$206 Calls – Range: .47-1.55 – Max Gain: 230%

_______

Nike, Inc. NKE - We also highlighted a range of Nike options as the company was just coming off of a post-market earnings beat on Tuesday, specifically the NKE Weekly $52-54 Calls. Again, market-wide bullishness aided an excellent intraday push for each of our alerted contracts:

$52 Calls – Range: 1.23-3.00 – Max Gain: 144%
$52.50 Calls – Range: .85-2.61 – Max Gain: 207%
$53 Calls – Range: .60-2.13 – Max Gain: 255%
$53.50 Calls – Range: .42-1.60 – Max Gain: 281%
$54 Calls – Range: .27-1.20 – Max Gain: 344%

Fresh Idea:

Mobileye N.V. (MBLY) – We’re having such good fortune in options with current conditions allowing for the type of volatility that traders dream of, that we might as well offer up yet another new idea this morning. We’re going to be paying attention to the MBLY Weekly $44.50-46.50 Calls, as the stock is gapping up heavily in the premarket today.

Cemtrex, Inc. CETX

We’re also taking a technical interest in CETX this morning. As you can see on the following chart snapshot, there are a number factors indicating the potential for some increased upward movement.

This comes just a week after the company announced its first ever share buyback program, which will allow for the repurchase of up to a million shares over the next year.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: VGZ, NEWC Reviews & More

Vista Gold Corp. VGZ – Recap

We entered VGZ into the mix in Friday morning’s premarket report after it became clear that it would be a troubling session for currencies in the wake of the Brexit vote. It was among a list of gold-related stocks that we wanted to track, and VGZ has set itself apart from the bunch.

From our observed low of 1.35 from Friday, yesterday’s high of 2.09 represented a respectable session-over-session upswing of 55%, so congratulations to anyone who took a piece of the pie during a time when big gainers have been relatively difficult to come by.

With the markets appearing to be gearing up for a rebound today, we’ll want to keep an eye out for a gap-down and consolidation from VGZ. We’ll only remain interested if it maintains support above its recent swing high around 1.50.

New Columbia Resources, Inc. NEWC

We also need to update folks on our NEWC reminder from yesterday’s report. It was a combination momentum/news play and the stock continued to set new highs.

From a low of .0179 it ran 35% intraday to .0241 on reasonably high volume to the tune of three times the monthly average. The company put out another PR today, and will hold our attention as long as it continues to exhibit momentum-play characteristics.

** Please Note: While we were the first to bring NEWC to our readers’ attention, we have noticed an active promotion on the stock, and would like to make it perfectly clear that we are not a part of that campaign, and have not been compensated in any way for mentioning NEWC. **

Fibrocell Science, Inc. FCSC

This is a stock that we haven’t crossed paths with in more than a year, but we noticed the beginnings of a nice rebound off of recent relative lows, and wanted to tag it for observation.

It has a ripe looking chart, and there is still a good sized gap that remains to be filled. We’ll have this play on our radar for that possibility moving forward.

Adaptive Medias, Inc. ADTM

We most recently alerted this one as a bottom play in our watchlist on Tuesday June 14th, and subsequent to that, the stock was trading as low as .0015. Yesterday ADTM broke out off its bottom, catching some nice momentum running as high as .0033, for a move of 120% in just two weeks’ time!

Bank of America Corp. BAC – Fresh Options Idea

BAC is among those stocks that took a Brexit-based pounding in recent sessions, and it appears to want to rebound a bit today. As long as this market reversal doesn’t turn out to be a head-fake, we’re going to want to pay attention to a couple set of contracts in the BAC options chain. Our possible strike points will be the BAC Weekly $12.50 and $13 Calls. If it can surpass the 13.50 mark, we’ll look to roll up our strike price a level or two.
