MAJOR Options Winners

Options Review:

We came up with a couple of options trading ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report based off of earnings plays. We designated ranges of contracts to watch in the GS and MRNA chains and they both produced considerable intraday opportunities.

Our specific targets were the GS Weekly $330-332.50 Calls, and the MRNA Weekly $150-152.50 Calls and we saw multibag moves in both cases, with the Goldman Sachs ideas really stealing the show on the strength of some eye-popping moves. Those gains were as follows:

GS Weekly $330-332.50 Calls

$330: 1.95-14.55 (+646%)
$332.50: 1.51-12.17 (+706%)
_____

MRNA Weekly $150-152.50 Calls
$150: 4.26-11.35 (+166%)
$152.50: 3.05-8.60 (+182%)
_____

We also had given readers an idea this past Friday morning on the LEVI 04/16 $26-27 Calls, and the stock has popped off to new highs this week, allowing for some huge potential profits for anyone who caught on to those targets:

LEVI 04/16 $26-27 Calls
$26: .25-1.65 (+560%)
$27: .05-.75 (+1400%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY Weekly $414-415 Calls

TSM Weekly $120-121 Calls
PGR Weekly $97.50-100 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup

Dollar Tree, Inc. DLTR – Options Update

Yesterday, apart from highlighting the many winning options plays that came out of Wednesday morning’s premarket report, we also brought up a new idea for the DLTR options chain. We signaled the DLTR Weekly $85 Calls.

Those $85 Calls were big movers, trading in a range from 1.90-4.66 on the day. That represented an intraday pop of 145% so cheers to any of those who may have taken advantage of that healthy run.

Big Lots, Inc. BIG

We’re looking to BIG this morning on the heels of an earnings beat and cash dividend annoucment. The stock is gapping considerably above the $50-level to new annual highs. We’re going to be looking at the BIG Weekly $47.50-52.50 Calls* for possible quick-hit trades today.

*Caution: We always like to remind our readers that trading options contracts with a weekly expiration on Friday is an inherently risky proposition. Please do not attempt to do so if you are not an advanced-level trader.

Relypsa, Inc. RLYP

We’re coming across RLYP at an interesting time today. The stock is gapping up this morning, oddly enough, on news that hit for a rival. The FDA refused approval to pharma giant AstraZeneca for its potassium-lowering drug, effectively leaving RLYP’s competing drug as the lone option in the marketplace.

We’ve formulated an options idea for this play as well. With no weeklies available, we’re going to be monitoring contracts within the range of the RLYP 06/03 $20-25 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ATHI, TBEV Recaps & More

American Transportation Holdings, Inc. ATHI

ATHI was the most impressive among three good plays to come off of our extended watchlist in yesterday’s premarket report. Despite the stock having already made a 600% move on, Friday, we saw the opportunity to possibly take advantage of momentum spillover, and it turned out to be a great decision.

ATHI opened up at .0005, and never looked back as it ran from super-subpenny to subpenny territory, culminating in an impressive daily high of .0022 which registered as a 340% intraday rip.

Our sincere congratulations go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this beast of a runner!

We may want to begin monitoring this play for a possible forthcoming dip-and-rip scenario caused by hastily-exiting profit-takers.

High Performance Beverages Co. TBEV

TBEV was the next good call for us from yesterday’s report. This is another stock that fared very well on Friday (.0015-.0025), yet still provided sufficient action for traders to make a tidy profit yesterday.

It traded in a range from .0017 to .0024, which represents a healthy intraday increase of 41%

BioPharmX Corp. BPMX

BPMX was a nice catch for us too yesterday. We witnessed a modest yet solid move from a daily low of 1.85 to a PPS high of 2.25, a 22% jump.

It brings BPMX to its highest value since early August. A return to June levels would mean significant added gains from here, so we’ll be open to the possibility of a protracted recovery for this stock.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: GRLT Recap, Options Ideas & More

Healthy & Tasty Brands Corp. GRLT

In Friday’s morning report, we tagged GRLT, a super-subpenny play, for observation and the stock did make a nice initial move right out of the starting gate. It had been continually building a higher base level of support since the end of August, and continued that trend as it ran from .0005-.0007; a 40% jump. The move came on approximately 3X the 3-month average volume, and GRLT did manage to hold a PPS of .0006 into the close.

This is one that we’ll continue to watch for possible intraweek swing-trade opportunities in the near future. As we mentioned in Friday’s report, we’ll need to see it maintain support at or above the current 50DMA of .0004 in order for it to hold our attention moving forward.

Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN – Options Update

One of our main points of focus on Friday was an idea we formulated for the AMZN options chain. Looking at the activity on the AMZN chart as it was breaking out, we came up with an extended-term target of the AMZN 10/16 $550 Calls  and we saw some immediate response from those contracts. They traded in a daily range from 10.17 up to 11.89 marking a solid 17% increase.

If AMZN can continue its uptrend to the point of testing it’s annual highs, our targeted Calls will be pushed deep into the money, and in that case, would produce further opportunities down the road.

Apple, Inc. AAPL _ Options Idea

AAPL is gapping up this morning on positive pre-sale numbers for the new iPhone 6S Plus, and we’re going to go ahead and formulate an idea for some possible intraday/intraweek options-trading opportunities.

We want to signal our interest in AAPL Weekly $115-116.50 Calls on the heels of what could be a potential dip-and-rip scenario on the chart. Either way, we’ll be watching AAPL activity closely as we kick off this new trading week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR Update & More

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR When we touched base with PBR on Wednesday morning, we mentioned that we were expecting some opportunities to come our way provided that the stock could hold support at or above its 200DMA (13.69).

We also showed interest in the July 19th $15 Calls, which, leading up to that point, had been trading in the .30-.38 range, and even ventured so far as to say that a double or triple could be possible. That move came rather quickly over the remainder of the trading week, as those contracts dipped as low as .25, and by the end of the day on Friday had come all the way back to close at .61.

For us, that represented an excellent three-session move, allowing gains of up to 144% for options traders. The stock itself made a modest move up also, to the tune of 8% from 13.62 to 14.77.

The PBR chart is still looking quite ripe, with several bullish indicators catching our attention. The RSI is strengthening rapidly, there appears to be a MACD cross in the making, and provided the stock can maintain support at or above the channel between the 50DMA of 14.19 and Friday’s swing low of 14.32, we like the chances of seeing even more gains from PBR.

For intraday/intraweek flip opportunities, we can look into the $14-$15 Weekly Calls, but granted the overall trend continues, a longer-term play will continue to be the 07/19 $15’s, which as we said, have already afforded us a double-bagger.

Shamika 2 Gold, Inc. SHMX

On Thursday, we added SHMX to the mix as a sub-penny play that had struck us as having some potential. As with the majority of stocks trading in the triple-zero range, SHMX is susceptible to rapid swings in price, and we saw that first hand as we closed out the week. On Friday, the stock saw a low of .0003, and a subsequent upswing to its closing price of .0005.

That made it possible for traders to nab a quick profit of 67%  We always want to be extremely cautious when dealing with volatile plays in this price range, as they are not for the faint-hearted. Quick-strike trades are the order of the day, and for more skilled traders, proper timing of each dip and rip can lead to gains really piling up.
