Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TROV, PULM Reviews

Pulmatrix, Inc. PULM

We highlighted this stock in Friday morning’s premarket report, and were immediately paid potential dividends as PULM made a very solid intraday push. From a low of 1.33, PULM surged as high as 2.33 on the day. That represents a single-session gain of 75% which occurred on huge volume.

It was also sufficient to secure PULM the #2 slot on the NASDAQ top gainers list for the day. We’ll be sure to monitor its activity as we kick off the fresh trading week, in the event of a momentum spillover.

TrovaGene, Inc. TROV

Also appearing in Friday morning’s report was a reminder on TROV. We signaled this stock for observation at the end of January. It tapered back slightly to find support at a low of 2.54, and reached an impressive mark of 9.65 on Friday morning. That worked out to move of 280% in a span of roughly five weeks.

Big Lots, Inc. BIG – Options Recap

We also had the BIG 03/15 $35 & $37.50 Calls on watch in Friday’s report, and those worked out fantastically, thanks to a very nice daily performance from the stock. The $35 Calls ran hard from a low of .50 and up as high as 2.40- a move of 380% The $37.50’s dwarfed that move, exploding from a low of ,07 to .75, which works out to a daily increase of 971%

The Boeing Co. BA – Fresh Idea

We’re also going to be looking to short Boeing early on this week with the BA Weekly $375-367.50 Puts, after a disaster for an Ethiopian Airlines flight claimed 149 lives on a brand new Boeing MAX-8 737 a mere 6 minutes after takeoff. It’s all but certain to cause near-term issues for BA stock, which has already been on the decline this month.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FTNW Ripping & More

Unity Group, Inc. UNIT

To kick off the fresh trading week yesterday, we tagged quite a large number of stocks in our Extended Watchlist, including UNIT with the note ‘Bottom-Watch’ attached. The stock had been absolutely pummeled in previous sessions, and a rebound appeared imminent.

We didn’t have to wait any time at all for that bounce to occur, with the stock posting a heck of an intraday performance. From a low of 8.29, UNIT surged its way up to a daily high of 11.5. That marks a very solid first-day performance for this play amounting to a gain of 37% We will continue to track the stock for further gains as the week the progresses.

General Electric Co. GE

We also wanted to recap the recent performance of GE. We mentioned this play shortly after the new year on January 8th, and observed a low of 8.18 the following day. Since then,we’ve seen fairly steady growth out of the stock, as it has run from that low up to a new high of 11.75 yesterday.

That represents an overall increase of 47% in roughly 7 weeks’ time. GE also just cracked its 200DMA yesterday, with the RSI about to head into the power zone, so we’ll want to continue our monitoring of its activity in coming sessions as well.

FTE Networks, Inc. FTNW

After being in a general downtrend since June, we’re seeing some sparks of life from FTNW, which is roaring up off of its 52-week lows as a result of announcing over $115M in new contracts. We are going to place this on our radar and strap in for what could be an impressive push off of its bottom.

Up considerably in the premarket, there are resistance areas roughly around $4, $6 and $10, and FTNW has the potential to crack some or all of those levels with the surge off of this latest news.

Fresh Options Ideas:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Huge Session & More

Sky Solar Holdings Ltd. SKYS – Update

SKYS has been nothing short of spectacular since we introduced it in Thursday morning’s premarket report. On the first day we saw it run from 1.30 to 2.58 (+98%), then on Friday another big pop from 2.44-5.50 (+125%), but the fun wasn’t over yet!

Yesterday, after yet another morning reminder to our readers, SKYS would once again record higher lows and higher highs en route to a daily run from 4.32 to 6.46, marking a shot at up to 50% in gains on the day.

The new high also represented a simply awesome 397% swing over our observed low of 1.30 on Thursday morning! We’ll remain interested for as long as the stock continues to build higher base levels of support.

_____

Towerstream Corp. TWER

We submitted TWER in the same report as SKYS on Thursday as they both appeared to be prime bottom-play opportunities, and it too has put on an extended show for us that has spanned all three sessions since that initial alert at a low of .1099.

Yesterday’s performance was very good, with TWER touching a low of .14 before hitting .20, a move of 43% and a three-day total upswing of 82% The stock closed just a penny below the high at .19, so a continuation of momentum is certainly a possibility from here as well.

______

Strikeforce Technologies, Inc. SFOR

We also want to track back quickly to SFOR; another call we made on Thursday, when it was trading as low as .0007. Yesterday, the stock reached a new high of .0015, which registers as a three-session swing of 114%

Aeropostale, Inc. ARO

We urged our readers to heed the warning signs presented by the ARO chart yesterday morning, which we pointed out as being extremely bullish in nature. We sincerely hope that folks were paying attention, because it turned out to be a heck of a call.

From an early low of .23, the stock took off and subsequently reached a high of .35; a 52% intraday pop that we feel is quite noteworthy coming from a NYSE play in this price range. It also saw a bullish close just below its high of day, so we’ll have to reserve a continued space on our watchlists for ARO.

Applied Energetics, Inc. AERG

AERG was included on yesterday morning’s watchlist, and it too put up a bullish performance on the afternoon. After a subdued start, the stock heated up toward the end of the day and ran into the close. The daily range on the stock was .024-.041, giving traders a chance at some nice gains of up 71%

Twitter, Inc. TWTR – Options Idea

In addition to paying close attention to TWTR stock, which just cracked through its 50DMA yesterday, we will also be looking to possibly take advantage of the options chain. We’ll have our sights set on TWTR Weekly $17.50 & $18 Calls  for daytrading/swing trade opportunities through the remainder of the week.
