Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PULM Review & More

Pulmatrix, Inc. PULM

The first thing we want to talk about this morning is the recent performance of a stock we tagged for observation roughly three weeks ago on the 11th of March. PULM was under consolidation in the sessions that followed, and over the past week, has really blossomed into a solid runner.

From its recent low of 1.05, the stock has risen as high as 3.01, which marks an increase of 187% PULM was trading above $4 just a few months ag0. We’ll continue to monitor to see if the stock can recover the rest of its lost ground.

FRESH OPTIONS IDEAS

Walgreens Boots Alliance WBA – Here we would like to signal a range of puts in the WBA chain on the heels of the company’s whiff on Q2 earnings expectations, and slashed guidance. Our targets this midweek are going to be the WBA Weekly $59-57.50 Puts, which may be helped along by a lackluster February Durable Orders report this morning.
_____

Cabot Corp. CBT – In this case, we simply like the technical setup of the chart. If CBT makes the kind of rebound it appears to want to make, we are going to see some solid opportunities out of the CBT 05/17 $40 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Bouncers & More

Riot Blockchain, Inc. RIOT

Things move pretty fast around here, but we do our best to keep up with tracking on all of the stocks we mention in our daily reports. In certain cases, we see slow buildup, and in others we see a quick rocket to new highs, but in the case of RIOT, we actually got both.

After we highlighted our interest in RIOT roughly two months ago on December 19th, it had been on a rather steady climb, until Friday when the lid blew off the top. Our observed low subsequent to our mention of the stock was 1.29, and Friday’s new high came in at 4.24. That’s a gain of 229% in a span of just eight weeks!

Bristow Group, Inc. BRS

We also wanted to quickly highlight a bottom-bouncer with some real potential to the upside. We ran across BRS this morning, noticing that it had just produced some activity off of a relative bottom.

There is a gap to fill on thwe chart and room to run for some potentially solid gains, so we’ll be keeping an eye peeled for that as we kick off a fresh trading week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRI Recap & More

General Mills, Inc. GS

First up today, we are taking a look at General Mills following the company’s solid quarterly figures on earnings and profits released here in the premarket.

The stock itself has gotten badly beaten up recently, as have most stocks in what is shaping up to be a very turbulent finish to 2018. However, the strong numbers reported could be just the catalyst to effect a convincing reversal. We’re going to be waiting in the wings with our eye on the GIS Weekly $37.50 Calls to try to take advantage of the situation.

Darden Restaurants, Inc. DRI

We highlighted some calls in the DRI chain yesterday, the DRI Weekly $95-105 Calls. Of those three sets of contracts, we got some very nice activity from two out of the three. While the $95’s were too far in the money, the $100’s and the $105’s fared quite well.

The $100 Calls traded up from a low of 2.85 and hit an even 5.00 for a gain of 75% and theĀ  $105’s surged from .65-1.60, producing a gain opportunity of up to 146%
