Longer-Term Options Plays & More

Smith & Wesson, Adobe Options Review:

As usual on Friday morning we formulated some fresh options ideas for the day, and just like usual, we met with some serious intraday gain opportunities. We had some targets in the SWBI Weekly $20 Calls and the ADBE Weekly $555-570 Calls and found success across the board.

In both cases the daily activity on the stock was enough to propel our designated targets to some serious moves and gain chances for our readers. SWBI saw a big move that was good enough to record it as the 6th highest gainer on the big boards for the session and it scored us a four-bagger on our tracked contract set!

Here were the total possible profits that were on the table for anyone who caught our report:

SWBI Weekly $20 Calls
$20: .70-3.51 (+401%)
_____

ADBE Weekly $555-570 Calls
$555:
5.30-12.92 (+144%)
$560: 2.02-8.20 (+306%)

$570: .86-2.02 (+135%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
TBIO 08/20 $17.50-20 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: UAA Update & More

Under Armour, Inc. UAA – Update

We mentioned the possibility of further gains for the calls we signaled in the Under Armour options chain on Tuesday, the UAA Weekly $15.50-16.50 Calls.

The markets pulled a head-fake, and ended up going green, which helped allow the stock to make to more than $18. That created huge opportunities in our highlighted plays, which went quickly from double-baggers on Tuesday, to a triple, a quad, and even an octuple-bagger!

$15.50 Calls – Range: .60-2.50 – Max Gain: 317%
$16 Calls – Range: .34-2.00 – Max Gain: 488%
$16.50 Calls – Range: .16-1.50 – Max Gain: 838%

______

Fresh Options Idea:
SPY Weekly $270-272 Calls

Payment Data Systems, Inc. PYDS

We are looking at PYDS as a bottom-bouncer with just the kind of chart setup we like. The stock spent nearly all of January and the beginning of February under heavy consolidation down to its lowest PPS since October. In the last couple of weeks it has shown signs of a solid turnaround.

As you can see below, the RSI is coming off of being oversold and presently cruising toward the 50-line,  the MACD is in the midst of a bullish cross, and yesterday saw the testing of the 200DMA. PYDS also has a recent history of rapid runs up the chart, also visible on the included snapshot, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on it in the coming days.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CRGP, Options Recaps & More

Calissio Resources Group, Inc. CRGP

First up this morning is a stock that we called in Friday’s extended watchlist The volatility in CRGP was an excellent target for flippers on Friday, with the stock coming out with a nice initial intraday run before following it up with a couple of subsequent bounces.

It began from a morning low of .0043 from which point CRGP rattled off its first swing up to the high-of-day at .0067; a nice 56% surge. After pulling back to .0045, it ran promptly back to .006 adding another 33% pop. It finished up with a dip back to .005 and 20% run-back to .006.

In total, CRGP’s session produced cumulative gains on the order of 109%, fueled by the news that the company had completed a $14.6M sale of its Mexican copper mine >> READ PR

Inotek Pharmaceutical Corp. ITEK

We tagged ITEK in Thursday’s premarket report, after noticing some FDA-related news hitting the wires, and during that session we would witness a low of 7.66 before the stock took off on an impressive tear that bled into Friday’s trading as well.

On Friday, the momentum carried the stock to a new high of 19.45, which registered as an overnight increase of 154%, so we want to send our congratulations to those of our readers who caught our report and cashed in on that impressive move!

Friday’s Winning Options Ideas

The big winners among the options ideas that we submitted in Friday morning’s report turned out to be the FB Weekly $96-50-97.50 Calls . Every one of the contracts in the range we specified turned up chances at impressive profits. Here’s a breakdown of the gains that were made possible by our timely alert.

The $96.50 Calls came out of the gate with a nice initial 108% move of from .65-1.35. That was followed up by a significant pullback to its daily low of .07 before running hard back to .58; an incredible 728% surge.

The $97 Calls produced similar action, with their first run taking them from .37-.96 (+159%), followed by a dip back to a penny before reaching back to a dime. That second move, like the previously mentioned contracts, was far more pronounced, coming in at a whopping  900%

The 97.50’s did make a move from .22-.52, an intraday gain of 136%, however they ended up too far out of the money to see a second run like the aforementioned plays. Still, their performance was nothing to sneeze at; any way you slice it, our FB Options ideas from Friday were a huge success!

Extended Watchlist:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CDTI Recap & More

Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. CDTI

Jumping off of yesterday’s extended watchlist was CDTI, which made an early run which could have been milked for noteworthy intraday gains. The stock surged out of the gate in a range from 2.27-3.38 within the first 20 minutes of trading; that was good for profits of up to 49% for the quick-witted trader.

The run came in conjunction with a PR containing positive trial results from the company’s “Spinel” clean emissions exhaust technology >>Read PR

We’ll continue to monitor CDTI’s progress as the week progresses, especially as it searches for support on the heels of yesterday’s early spike. There could be some bounce-action forthcoming.

There’s also more news hitting the wires today highlighting an underwritten public offering, the net proceeds of which will reportedly be in excess of $4.5M. >>Read PR

Coates International, Ltd. COTE

We made yet another early call in our Skype-based trader’s chatroom yesterday in the form of COTE. Just a few minutes into the session we tagged the stock, and from a low of .0025 it absolutely broke out to a daily high of .0165. That’s an epic mega-move of 560%

Those who missed out on the intial pop could have utilized several subsequent swings of serious stature; COTE logged moves from .0103-.014 (+36%), .007-.0105 (+50%), and .0078-.01 (+28%).

We’d call that a darn good reason to get involved with our chats, but it isn’t the only one we’ve given recently.

We were just reminding our readers the other day about joining in our daily chats after we called AURI in the room last Thursday, and that idea actually led to a multi-day, multi-bag run from that stock. We’ll be looking for similar activity from COTE, staying open to the possibility of a dip-and-rip scenario following a consolidation off of yesterday’s huge spike.

Once again, if you want to get in on our chats, all you need to do is send a Skype Contact Request to ‘stocksumo’. All of our readers are more than welcome to participate, and it will prevent you from missing out on prime chances like this one!

New Options Ideas

We thought we’d also provide a few new options ideas for the first time this week. We’ve got potential short and longer-term possibilities to suggest:

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR –  This old favorite always seems to produce for us, and after sizing up the chart (snapshot below), we like the current landscape, provided it can continue to maintain support at or above the 50DMA of 8.44. In the short-term, we’re looking at the Weekly PBR $8.00-9.00 Calls. For a potential extended idea, we’ll be tagging the August $10.00-11.00 Calls for observation.

LinkedIn Corp. LNKD – LNKD is another repeat-appearance options play for us. Today we’re going to be keeping watch over the Weekly $205.00-212.50 Call range, and for our longer-term watchlist, the August $220.00-230.00 Calls.
