We hashed out a trio of potential options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, and got things on track with decent moves being produced across the board on the day. Even those in HD, which ended up flipping the script and going in another direction, still yielded some modest intraday moves in a positive direction.

Our specific targeted plays were the WMT Weekly $136-138 Calls, the HD Weekly $315-312.50 Puts, and the GLBE Weekly $30 Calls. Here were the caliber of gains that were available to anyone speculating in these plays:

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. BBBY – Recap: 

BBBY has been included in our extended watchlists a few times since Monday of last week, when we first signaled it. Subsequent to that report, the stock has undergone a short squeeze and run from a low of  8.63 up to yesterday’s new high of 28.60. That marked a walloping gain of 231% in just over one trading week.

Things continued to go rather well for us on the options trading front yesterday. We stick our necks out to come up with quality trading ideas on a daily basis, and while it can sometimes prove challenging, we always seem to get the job done in respectable fashion. Of course it helps significantly that the markets have been especially volatile, as they have been this earnings season, to ratchet up the opportunities for daytraders. We hit on three out of the four ideas in which we were interested.

The potential plays we targeted in yesterday morning’s premarket report that went on to record big gains were the UBER Weekly $26.50-27.50 Calls, the MAR Weekly $160-162.50 Calls, and the CAT Weekly $192.50-187.50 Puts. Solid Options Sweep: 

We posted another clean sweep on options ideas in yesterday’s premarket report, offering up a pair of fresh ideas, and knocking them both out of the park with multi-bag gain opportunities on the day!

We were specifically targeting the DRI 10/15 $155-160 Calls and the ACN Weekly $337.50-342.50 Calls,  on the heels of the companies’ earnings reports. Despite being in a relative down-period for earnings reporters, we have been able to work with what we’ve got.

Here are the total possible intraday gains that were on the table for those ideas yesterday:

Eargo, Inc. EAR – Bottom Watch: 

We’re also looking at a possible long term recovery play in EAR, which got severely beaten up yesterday with a major gap-down. It may end up being a decent bottom play for the stock itself but we’re going to signal a longer-term options idea to track as well, in the EAR 11/19 $7.50-10 Calls.
