HUGE Stock Runners & More

Majic Wheels Corp. MJWL – Review:

The first thing we want to do this morning is review the recent activity in MJWL, a stock that we initially targeted as a subpenny play in our report on the morning of May 13th. The low following that alert was .0094, the stock began to run, and it hasn’t looked back.

Following another of what has been innumerable new highs since then MJWL cracked TWENTY cents, with shares changing hands for as much as .221. From our observed low of six weeks ago, that works out to an overall increase of 2251%, making it our hottest OTC play of the year so far.

Marin Software, Inc. MRIN – Review:

Speaking of impressive stock runs, MRIN is a NASDAQ play that we began tracking in our report on the morning of June 24th. It isn’t often that we see such intense PPS gains in the higher cap stocks over such a short period, but in this current market anything is possible, and MRIN’s run has been impressive.

On the morning of our intial alert the stock was as low as 2.56. After nearly a week of big sessions, yesterday’s took the cake as MRIN soared to a new high of 18.82. That works out to a four-session swing and total potential gains of 635%

Another Fruitful Options Trading Week on the Books

Options Round-Up:

We try extremely hard on a regular basis to search for, and point out, options trading ideas that we think may have a chance to be successful plays for our readers. It has become the primary focus of our typical daily activities, and for good reason. We excel at it more often than not, and despite going through a period with a relatively meager earnings calendar, we have still managed to keep things going on that front.

Yesterday we formulated a four-pack of fresh options targets and three of those turned in some very nice gain chances for the day. Our winning picks were the CCIV Weekly $25-26 Calls, the DRI 07/16 $140-145 Calls, and the EXPI 07/16 $40 Calls.

Here were the intraday moves and total possible profit chances they attained:

CCIV Weekly $25-26 Calls
$25: .57-1.36 (+139%)
$26: .22-.66 (+200%)
_____

DRI 07/16 $140-145 Calls
$140: 2.71-4.30 (+59%)
145: 1.25-2.18 (+74%)
_____

EXPI 07/16 $40 Calls
$40: 1.85-2.65 (+43%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We actually do have a few good earnings reporters this morning, with NKE and KMX drawing most of our attention. We’ll also venture a few targets for the SPCE chain following the FAA’s approval of its planned commercial sub-orbital flight business.

NKE Weekly $149-152.50 Calls
KMX Weekly $125-127 Calls
SPCE Weekly $45-49 Calls

Multiple Updates, Fresh Ideas

PHI Group, Inc. PHIL – Recap:

We’re back this morning with another update on PHI, a stock we’ve been tracking for a couple weeks now. We initially tagged this play in our June 8th report, and have been following along ever since. Subsequent to that alert, the stock registered a low of .0055 before taking off to new highs.

We reported an update on PHIL’s activity a week ago today, however this new trading week has brought still more new highs for this stock, with the PPS hitting .0185 yesterday. That works out to an overall move of 236%  Even if you only caught last week’s update on PHIL, you still could have caught a solid move from .0082 to yesterday high of .0185 which represents a move of 126%

Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. SWBI – Recap:

We rode some SWBI options for really nice gains between last week and this week as we mentioned in yesterday’s report, but with another huge surge in the stock to open up the week, the percentage gains in SWBI stock itself have become notable.

When we issued our idea on Friday, SWBI traded for as little as 20.75, and as of its newly registered high yesterday of 28.18, that marks a two-day swing of 36%, which is nothing to sneeze at for a $20+ stock.

Moderna Inc. MRNA – Review:

Just to provide a quick update on our MRNA options idea that we issued yesterday- despite choosing a longer-term set of contracts, we did see instant gratification as MRNA spiked on the day and provided for a very good start for our tracked contracts, the MRNA 08/20 $195-210 Calls.

MRNA 08/20 $195-210 Calls
$195: 23.50-27.85 (+19%)
$200: 18.00-25.10 (+39%)
$210: 13.55-19.95 (+47%)

We’ll add some weekly targets into the mix as well with the MRNA Weekly $210-212.50 Calls.

Bullish and Bearish Options Ideas

Ehang Holdings Ltd. EH – Recap:

Things have been cooling on the options front this week as we struggle through a period of extreme low numbers of daily earnings reporters. It’s the volatility following these earnings dumps that provides us with the big gain chances we’re always after.

We have been managing to find plays here and there, however, and one of our ideas from yesterday morning, the EH Weekly $40-45 Calls, did post some solid intraday gains for us. Out of our pair of designated targets, one achieved multibag status while the other fell just a couple of percentage points short.

Here are the total moves and possible profits on the session for those plays:

EH Weekly $40-45 Calls
$40: 3.98-7.90 (+98%)
$45: 2.34-4.80 (+105%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’ll be flipping bearish on ORCL today, and are also taking a longer-term look at SAGE, which has fallen off a cliff this week.

SAGE 08/20 $60-65 Calls

ORCL Weekly $79-77.50 Puts
