Continued Options Success, New Ideas

Options Review:

We offered up four sets of options ideas in our premarket report yesterday, and three of those four ended up being solid movers on the day. We can’t always be flawless, but having said that, three out of four isn’t half bad!

Our designated targets were the SPY 11/15 $467-469 Calls, the AAP Weekly $240 Calls, and the ACM Weekly $70-72.50 Calls. Some of the gains we observed were fairly modest, but we had some nice multi-baggers in there as well – most notably the SPY $467 Calls which rattled off an enormous run on the day.

GM, GIS Options Recaps & More

Options Updates:

We continue plugging away at attempting to find options plays despite having so few earnings reports to rely on as fuel, and yesterday our big name target was GM. Were were observing the GM Weekly $58-59 Calls with the stock in the midst of a pretty impressive run that has generally persisted for roughly the past month.

The stock ran pretty good out of the starting gate yesterday, and that activity allowed for some decent gain opportunities in the pair of contract sets that we were tracking. Here were the intraday runs they recorded:

GM Weekly $58-59 Calls
$58: .94-1.72 (+83%)
$59: .55-1.10 (+100%)
_____

For an additional update, we’ve been tracking the GIS 10/15 $55-50 Calls since the morning of September 22nd, and we wanted to swing back around to report on the new highs we witnessed in those plays. Here are the ranges and total possible gains that were registered there in recent sessions:

Tons of Options Plays

BioNTech (SE) BNTX – Options Recap:

Yesterday morning, our premarket report featured a couple of options ideas, one of which was in BNTX. This came right on the heels of the company’s revelation that its COVID-19 vaccine developed in partnership with Pfizer has demonstrated a 100% efficacy rate in adolescent recipients.

That news provided at least some of the impetus for for our targets, the BNTX Weekly $99-101 Calls, to produce the following multibag intraday gain opportunities for anyone who caught our alert:

BNTX Weekly $99-101 Calls
$99:  2.90-7.00 (+141%)
$100: 2.15-6.80 (+216%)
$101: 2.30-5.30 (+130%)

We’ll be looking to extend these gains once again today, and will roll up to include the BNTX Weekly $105-107 Calls in our watchlist for the remainder of this short week.
____

AbCellera Biologics, Inc. ABCL – Our other fresh options idea from yesterday was a longer-term target with a couple weeks still remaining until expiration, but we saw instant results after calling the timing of the reversal perfectly:

ABCL 04/16 $25 Calls

$25: 1.75-3.00 (+71%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
CHWY Weekly $90-93 Calls

LULU Weekly $315-310 Puts

Options Updates, Fresh Plays

US Steel Corp. X – Options Review:

We offered up a possible trade idea for the X chain in Friday morning’s premarket report, just as the company provided first quarter 2021 guidance that reflects higher expectations on strong steel demand leading to a rise in price. That led to an excellent session wherein X approached its previous high of the calendar year thus far, though it did ultimately come up just shy of the mark.

Our designated targets, the X Weekly $22-22.50 Calls fared quite well, with the PPS surging past and holding over $24 into the close. That facilitated the following gain opportunities for anyone who happened to catch our signal:

X Weekly $22-22.50 Calls
$22:
  51-2.33 (+357%)
$22.50: .26-1.89 (+627%)

eXp World Holdings Inc. EXPI:

Speaking of solid options plays, on Wednesday morning we threw out an idea for the EXPI chain, specifically targeting the EXPI 03/19 $50-52.50 Calls. The stock performed exceedingly well to close out the week, running to new highs.

That move enabled our options plays to record some excellent double bag trading ranges, and with the momentum built up in the stock, we’re going to want to continue to track these ideas, in addition to rolling up to include the EXPI 03/19 $55 Calls.

EXPI 03/19 $50-52.50 Calls
$50:  2.16-5.30 (+145%)
$52.50: 1.45-3.70 (+155%)

Foothills Exploration, Inc. FTXP – Recap:

Speaking of solid multibaggers, we included FTXP in yesterday morning’s extended watchlist. We always try to remind our readers (especially newcomers) to include our daily watchlists on your own radar screens. We don’t typically profile each and every stock that catches our interest, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t hidden gems like these.

Subsequent to our alert, this OTC play ran from a low of .0032 on up to .0104, which represents a daily rip of 225% and came on over a billion and a half shares traded.
