CAG Recap & More

Conagra Brands, Inc. CAG – Recap

With the markets ripping again yesterday, one of the options ideas we had zeroed in on produced some really nice gain opportunities for us. We signaled the CAG 07/02 $33.50-34.50 Calls, and two out of three of those contracts logged double-bag gains on the day.

Here are the total ranges and possible profits that these calls provided:

CAG 07/02 $33.50-34.50 Calls
$33.50: 1.15-2.15 (+87%)
$34: .77-1.76 (+129%)
$34.50: .55-1.35 (+145%)

______

Fresh Ideas:
FDX 07/02 $149-155 Calls
STZ 07/02 $175-180 Calls

OncoCyte Corp. OCX

On OCX yesterday, we noticed a drastic change as the stock fell off a cliff on news that it would discontinue development of its DetermaDx liquid biopsy test. Purely from a technical perspective, we have to take notice when a stock gets chopped by half and falls to near annual lows in one session.

It leaves a lot of future opportunity for a bounceback on the table, so we’re going to signal a long term idea in the options chain, and begin monitoring the OCX 11/20 $2.50 Calls.

Continued Cannabis Sector Surges

We’ve been all over the cannabis space for years, but the scope and intensity of our observation has been decidedly more focused in past weeks and months.  On Sunday, legalized recreational marijuana took effect in California and elsewhere, so you can all expect that the pot sector will be an area of continued interest as the industry as a whole is set to undergo huge growth and change in coming months.

We had a few reminders appear in Friday’s premarket report from among the vast group of pot plays we’ve tracked over an extremely long period at this point. PHOT and VAPE, two old favorites, both followed that up with solid intraday performances to close out 2016.

PHOT posted a nice intraday move from .0167-.0198 (+19%), while VAPE ran from .0122-.0167 (+37%).  We’ll continue to track these and other cannabis stocks, including but not limited to: MCOA, HEMP, MCIG, GRNH, TRTC, MYDX, MYHI, CHIT

More Updates:

Oceanic Research & Recovery Inc. ORRV – We began mentioning ORRV on Wednesday, and subsequently would witness a low of .0005. Friday the stock posted a huge finish to the year, running up to a new high of .00271. That marked a three-session swing of 442%  We’re going to be keeping an eye peeled for the possibility of continued momentum.

ERF Wireless, Inc. ERFB – Our first tag of ERFB came three Friday’s ago, at which time we would observe a low of .0013. It too broke out to new high on Friday, reaching .02. From our initial low that works out to an overall increase of 54% More gains could be on the horizon in this case as well, so we’ll be watching.

 Vanguard Natural Resources, Inc. VNR

We also want to put VNR on our radars as we kick things off on this short week. We’ve included a snapshot below and as you can see, a triple-bottom formation is currently in effect. We are going to be watching for a reversal, which, if the last couple of cycles are any indicator, could lead to a pretty significant PPS increase.

ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Futures SVXY

With the markets as a whole appearing to want to open up 2017 on a high note, we’re going to signal a range of bullish options calls for the SVXY ETF. We’ll be monitoring the SVXY Weekly $93.50-95.50 Calls.

_____

Globalstar, Inc. GSAT – Speaking of momentum plays, that’s just what GSAT was when we caught it on Monday morning. It had already strung together four sessions of higher highs, and has managed to maintain that trend for another four! We’ve witnessed an additional increase of 60% from our observed low of 1.25 to yesterday’s new high of 2.00 on heavy volume throughout the week.
_____

Momentous Entertainment Group, Inc. MMEG – We tagged MMEG in Wednesday morning’s premarket report, and that one has made a very nice two-day swing as well. From a low of .0017 to it reached .0038, which represents a 123% spike.
_____

Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. IMMY – We also just want to remind readers of a signal we gave yesterday morning on IMMY, which had just begun to show signs of a bottom-bounce in the previous session. The stock did continue that trend with a modest 17% move to the upside, trading from a low of 2.12 to 2.48. The jump did occur on well over five times the 3-month average volume, so we’ll continue to observe this play, which has a chance to confirm its multi-day runner status with strong finish to the week.
