Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PEP Surges & More

PepsiCo, Inc. PEP

Pepsi had a solid across the board beat following its premarket earnings release yesterday, and we seized opportunity to include the  PEP Weekly $124-125 Calls in our morning report.

A five-dollar intraday run by the stock allowed for some very nice opportunities to profit in our pair of targets. The $124 Calls ran from .72-3.40 for a big 372% rip, while the $125′s traded from .32 to 2.45; a gain of 666%

Verb Technology, Inc. VERB

This stock is a newcomer to the NASDAQ, having only recently uplisted from the OTCQB, which has been the subject of a selloff over the past six weeks. That was kicked into another gear earlier this month when the company announced that its move to the NASDAQ would be accompanied by a $20M offering at roughly half the market price at the time.

Now that it has fallen well below the offering price, and indicators are suggesting a rebound may be in order, we are going to flag this play for observation in the days and weeks ahead.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Big Win Friday

Recapping Friday’s Winners

If you check our report from Friday morning, you’ll see that we highlighted a couple of sets of weekly options ideas, and we’d like to kick off this short trading week with a review of the total possible gains which were available for anyone who caught our alerts.

SPDR S&P500 ETF (SPY) -Expecting to see some reasonably bullish activity based off of the conditions we observed on Friday in the premarket, we decided to make our go-to move of signaling some short-term SPY ideas. Out of that group, the Weekly $289 Calls were the most attractive play. Those traded up from a low of .55-1.54, for total possible gains of up to 180%
_____

The Walt Disney Co. DIS – We caught DIS gapping up on our morning scan Friday, and it was cruising in the premarket. It turned into a classic gap-and-go for us as our ideas, the Weekly $122-125 Calls, which all soared.

$122 Calls – Range: 4.40-10.25 – Max Gain: 133%
$123 Calls – Range: 3.75-7.59  – Max Gain: 102%
$124 Calls – Range: 2.53-6.60 – Max Gain: 161%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Wrapping Up a Solid Week

Five Below Inc. FIVE

Fresh for yesterday morning’s premarket report, we jumped on the FIVE options chain with some quick-strike ideas in the FIVE Weekly $125-127 Calls and after an impressive $5+ intraday run for the stock itself, all three of those ideas bore fruit instantly. We wanted to recap the performance this morning, as well as update our idea for this play.

$125 Calls – Range: 2.40-5.00 – Max Gain: 108%
$126 Calls – Range: 2.18-3.30 – Max Gain: 51%
$127 Calls – Range: 1.64-3.00 – Max Gain: 83%

With FIVE gapping up again in the premarket today, we expect to see further gains from the above-mentioned contract sets, but we also want to roll up our potential strike prices a bit to follow the money a little closer. We’ll include the FIVE 04/05 $128-129 Calls in our pool of ideas going forward.

FRESH IDEAS:

BlackBerry Ltd. BB – Fresh off of the scanner this morning, we’ve got BlackBerry making waves in the premarket after a solid beat on revs and profits, in a quarterly release that included record software IP licensing. We’re going to keep an eye on the BB Weekly $9-10 Calls*.
_____

CarMax, Inc. KMX - CarMax also reported this morning, and it too is moving the needle in the premarket on the heels of a beat on profits. We’re going to add the KMX Weekly $65.50-67 Calls* to our tracklist for today as well.

*DO NOT attempt to trade weekly contracts on a Friday unless you an advanced level trader with access to disposable funds!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Winning Stock Calls

Stock Recaps

We don’t very often dabble in OTC stocks anymore, with our primary focus being on big boards and options plays these days. We do make exceptions when it’s called for however, and this morning, we just wanted to draw attention to a couple of good calls we’ve made in that arena recently.

Driven Deliveries, Inc. DRVD -We tagged DRVD a couple of times in the last week, first in our report last Thursday morning, and promptly saw a perfect double bagger as the stock ran 100% from 1.50 that day to 3.00 on Friday.

More than just your average OTC throwaway, DRVD has a marijuana delivery service, and we’ve always been attracted to businesses in the cannabis space. The company also completed a 12.35:1 forward split the day we initially alerted on it and that move came post-split.  We’ll be interested to continue monitoring this stock.
_____

China Health Management Corp. CNHC - We also have tagged CNHC a couple of times in that same span, first highlighting it on Friday, and then again yesterday morning in our extended watchlist. Generally speaking, even if a stock is not featured in our reports, if it appears multiple times in our extended watchlist, there’s good chance it has performed well.

In the case of CNHC, we saw a move from .012 on the day of our initial alert to .04 yesterday. That’s a two-session upswing of 233%
____

Coty, Inc. COTY  - Speaking of the big boards, we highlighted COTY on Friday morning as well, selecting some weekly options that produced multi-bag gains for us. But the stock itself, between that time from a low of 8.50 and this morning’s premarket high of 11.58, has risen 36% in just a short while. We’ll want to continue tracking here as well.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Happy New Year!

Huge Winners from Friday

We highlighted multiple options ideas on Friday, and are pleased to report that we found major success across the board. Despite closing flat, the markets as a whole produced an intraday run which was sufficient to push everything on our radar to huge gains. It was a great way to close out 2018 with a bang, especially considering the poor trajectory we were on just a few sessions prior.

SPDR S&P500 ETF (SPY) – For the SPY we formulated two sets of ideas, one for calls and one for puts, and because of the market, both ideas were hugely successful. They were the  SPY Weekly $248-249.50 Calls, and the SPY Weekly $251-250 Puts. For the Calls, the crux of the gains came in the 2 o’clock hour, while the heaviest moves for the Puts came at Power Hour.

$248 Calls – Range: .84-3.47 – Max Gain: 313%
$248.50 Calls – Range: .64-2.80 - Max Gain: 338%
$249 Calls – Range: .50-2.50 – Max Gain: 400%
$249.50 Calls – Range: .40-2.05 - Max Gain: 410%

$251 Puts – Range: .81-3.81 – Max Gain: 370%
$250.50 Puts – Range: .62-3.21 - Max Gain: 418%
$250 Puts – Range: .43-3.02 - Max Gain: 602%
_______

Tesla, Inc. TSLA

We also had a range of TSLA Calls lined up on Friday, and those all fared extremely well also. The gains were even more impressive than those of the SPY, with a five, a six, and an eight-bagger in the mix!

$322.50 Calls – Range: 2.14-13.50 - Max Gain: 531%
$325 Calls – Range: 1.39-11.05– Max Gain: 636%
$327.50 Calls – Range: .90-8.80 - Max Gain: 878%
