Clean Sweep on Options, New Plays

Options Recaps:

We came in fresh off of the 4th of July holiday yesterday morning, and despite having zero big name earnings reporters to work with, we still put together a slate of four potential options plays that all turned in good performances on the day. Today is going to be similarly challenging in that regard, but as always we’ll strive to ID whatever is worth a look.

In yesterday’s case, we swept the board with all four of our selections. They were the SPY 07/05 $441-442 Calls, the AMD Weekly $115-116 Calls, the DUK 08/18 $90-95 Calls, and the RIVN Weekly $20.50-21 Calls. Here is the breakdown of the moves they made for us on the session:

Half-Day Holiday Runners, 4 New Ideas

Pre-Holiday Movers:

We left things off Monday morning in anticipation of a fairly subdued half-day of trading, but we still managed to find some good runners which provided fairly solid intraday opportunities. Apart from the pair of August ideas that were also included, which we’ll continue to keep an eye on in coming weeks, everything we highlighted made good moves for us.

Those plays were the LCID Weekly $7 Calls, the TSLA Weekly $265-275 Calls, and the DIS 07/21 $90 Calls, and here were the respectable runs they registered for Monday’s half-session.

LCID Weekly $7 Calls

Excellent Start to the Week, 4 Fresh Plays

Excellent Start to the Short Week:

We got out to a pretty hot start yesterday morning on this short trading week, the first session of which presented us with some very nice intraday gain opportunities. We hashed out a trio of potential plays in our premarket report, and everything worked out quite well. All of the contract sets in our designated ranges produced respectable runs with most reaching double-bag status or better, and in the case of the SPYs, we saw some incredible moves.

Our daily targets were the NVDA Weekly $425-430 Calls, the SPOT Weekly $157.50-160 Calls, and the SPY 06/20 $437-438 Calls. The potential profits they yielded for the session were as follows:

NVDA Weekly $425-430 Calls
$425:
 9.10-17.52 (+93%)
$430: 6.75-13.86 (+105%)
_____

SPOT Weekly $157.50-160 Calls
$157.50:
 1.60-3.10 (+94%)
$160: .95-2.00 (+111%)

SPY 06/20 $437-438 Calls

Kicking Off This Short Trading Week

Solid Friday Finish:

As we’ve been mentioning over the past week or so, we’re contending with an earnings dry spell at the moment, so our daily selection has been rather more limited than what is typical. However, we haven’t let that stop us entirely from formulating what we think are some of the more attractive prospects on any given trading day.

Friday’s premarket report was limited to just a pair of fresh options ideas, the ADBE Weekly $510-515 Calls and the SPY 06/16 $440-442 Calls. Despite a rocky session for the markets in general, we saw solid intraday movement from each of our selected contract sets. Here’s a breakdown of their daily performances:

ADBE Weekly $510-515 Calls
$510:
 .50-1.28 (+156%)
$515: .19-.42 (+121%)
_____

SPY 06/16 $440-442 Calls
$440:
 1.05-2.45 (+133%)
$441: .55-1.57 (+185%)
$442: .27-.87 (+232%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

Unfortunately, the dearth of high profile earnings reporters is slated to persist for the better part of the next month, but we will be equally persistent in our efforts to keep the ideas based on other factors flowing. Here’s what we find interesting today, to kick off this holiday-shortened trading week.

NVDA Weekly $425-430 Calls
SPOT Weekly $157.50-160 Calls
SPY 06/20 $437-438 Calls*

*Trading options contracts on their day of expiration should only be attempted by experienced traders

Faraday Future Intelligent  Electric, Inc. (NASDAQ:FFIE)

We’re also interested in tracking FFIE, a low-priced NASDAQ stock that has recently been steadily making its way up off of its annual lows. If it can hold above its recent support level at its its 50DMA of .25, we will remain interested.

Solid Finish to a Strong Trading Week

Another Winning Wednesday:

We fared pretty well yesterday with respect to the daily options ideas we included in our premarket report. The current earnings dry period persisted, leaving us with only a pair of fresh plays, but they both put up good intraday performances. Additionally, the Oracle calls we’ve been tracking this week once again tacked on some impressive new highs for us.

Those were, of course, the ORCL Weekly $121-123 Calls that we initially marked in Tuesday’s report, and yesterday’s new targets were the LEN Weekly $117-118 Calls, and the KR Weekly $47-46 Puts. Here were the numbers they posted for the session.

ORCL Weekly $121-123 Calls
$121: .53-6.39 (+1195%)
$122: .38-5.39 (+1696%)
$123: .30-4.28 (+1326%)
_____

LEN Weekly $117-118 Calls
$117:
 1.55-3.50 (+126%)
$118: 1.30-2.75 (+111%)
_____

KR Weekly $47-46 Puts
$47:
 1.19-2.56 (+115%)
$46.50: .90-2.10 (+133%)
$46: .59-1.79 (+203%)
