Yesterday morning, we updated readers on Monday’s fresh options ideas in the SPY and AAPL chains. We specifically warned readers to look out for further gains in our targeted plays, and unsurprisingly, we met with added increases on both sets.

In each case, the new highs we tacked on brought all of Monday’s calls into the multibag realm, while our added target from yesterday’s report, the AAPL 10/09 $110 Calls began their own ascent.

This morning we want offer up trio of fresh options ideas to track through this week, with some high profile earnings plays as well as a target in the SPY. Stocks in general are looking solid today, so the wind is blowing in the proper direction for it for the time being.

In addition to the SPY, we are looking at opportunities in the ADBE and FDX chains. Both companies are not slated to drop their quarterlies until after market hours, so we’ll be watching these in the run-up to that, and presumably for the remainder of the week after they present their figures.

As any of our regular readers can attest, we routinely use the SPY as a market analogue to trade current trends. It has been one of the top sources of big gain quick-strike trade opportunities for us over the past several years.
