Another Solid Trading Week on the Books

Another Successful Trading Week:

We fared quite well yesterday, with the only one of our four options ideas that didn’t pop off immediately being a longer-term play with a November expiration. Wednesday Review, New Ideas for Today

Wednesday’s Gainers:

Our midweek report yielded some pretty positive results for us yesterday, and while the potential gains weren’t quite as large as we are typically shooting for, and used to achieving, they were still very respectable, and all of our suggested targets posted some level of intraday gains for us. We can’t get mad at a 3-for-3 outing, so we’ll chalk it up as a solid trading day.

Our daily interests were the CALM 10/20 $45-40 Puts, the RPM 10/20 $95 Calls, and the HELE Weekly $108-106 Puts, and these were the moves they recorded on the session:

CALM 10/20 $45-40 Puts

$42.50: .54-.82 (+52%)

Thursday’s Runners, Fresh Plays

Recapping Thursday’s Winners:

We’re ready to jump back into the swing of things here on this Monday morning, but first, we’ll backtrack to the end of the short trading week on Thursday and take a look at what our daily interests were able to accomplish. In our premarket report, we had signaled a group of four ideas that we felt had reasonable potential for the session, and fared pretty well in each case.

Closing Out a Short Yet Sweet Trading Week

Wednesday’s Options Runners:

We were running a little light yesterday with regard to the slate of earnings reporters from which we had to choose some daily options plays, but that didn’t stop us from producing a pair of solid runners on the day in our premarket report. Both of the ideas we ventured possible targets in, recorded some significant intraday movement for us in a positive direction.

Our areas of interest were the SMPL 04/21 $40-35 Puts, and the DLO 04/21 $16-15 Puts, and while the potential gains they produced weren’t life-changing, they were certainly very respectable, as they put up the following figures for the session:

SMPL 04/21 $40-35 Puts
$40:
 3.30-4.50 (+36%)
$35: .30-.75 (+150%)
_____

DLO 04/21 $16-15 Puts
$16:
 1.32-3.70 (+180%)
$15: .65-3.00 (+362%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
STZ Weekly $220-225 Calls*
LEVI 04/21 $18 Puts
LW 04/21 $105 Calls
BA 05/05 $220-210 Puts

*We do not recommend you try to trade options on their day of expiration unless you are an experienced trader with access to disposable funds.

Continuing to Play the SPY & More

Large Options Gainers:

Our first order of business this morning is to go over the SPY Puts from yesterday morning’s premarket report which flourished with the help of a significantly down day for the markets at large. We played SPY calls the previous day that worked out, and today we’ll flip right back to calls as the markets appear ready to head up once again. The SPY is our favorite market analog for daytrading, and perhaps now some of you may have a better idea as to why.

Yesterday’s successful targets were the SPY 04/11 $446-444 Puts and we’ve also got a new high in the LW 04/15 $60 Calls we’ve been tracking. so here are the figures on all of those, and be sure to read on below to find our fresh SPY targets for today so we can keep this train rolling!

SPY 04/11 $446-444 Puts
$446:

LW 04/15 $60 Calls
