We are going to cap off this trading week by going over some of the new highs and ranges on options plays we’ve been tracking, starting with the ideas we signaled for observation in yesterday morning’s premarket report. We’ll also go over an idea from last week that came back around for another solid run.

Yesterday’s movers were the STZ Weekly $240-237.50 Puts, and the PTON 11/04 $8.50-9.00 Calls. We called the KMX 10/21 $75-70 Puts last Thursday morning, and they geared up for another nice move this week. Here are the numbers we were working with on these ideas through yesterday’s session:

A lot of the potential options targets we’ve been signaling for observation lately have had a July 15th expiration date, which is a slight departure from our typical targeting of weekly contracts. It has made sense in the current choppy climate being cause by a seemingly constant ebb and flow of recession concerns.

So this morning in addition to providing the moves made by the lone idea in yesterday’s report, the KRTX 07/15 $125-130 Calls, we’ll provide updates on a number of other still-active plays we’ve been tracking that are getting along quite nicely. Those are the KBH 07/15 $27-28 Calls, the WGO 07/15 $45-50 Calls, and the NFLX 07/22 $185-190 Calls. We called those on June 23rd, June 22nd and July 1st, respectively. Options Review: 

Our premarket report yesterday morning included three sets of options ideas for our readers based off of the day’s earnings calendar. As our regular readers are surely aware, we like to use the increased price action and volatility that typically comes with a big name earnings drop, to our advantage.

The targets that we were zeroed in on for the day were the CRM Weekly $215-220 Calls, the HPE 03/18 $16 Calls, and the PLUG Weekly $25-26 Calls. All three of those contract sets posted solid numbers on the day, with only one set of PLUG contracts falling just shy of producing double-bag gain opportunities.

We’ve also got an update for our readers this morning on INDO, a stock that we’ve been tagging in our extended watchlists since last Wednesday morning. At that time, we observed a low in the stock of 6.83. Yesterday the stock reached 15.212, marking a rise of 123% and as of this morning’s new premarket high of 23.19, we’ve now seen INDO run 240% in just over a week.
