Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Chatroom Calls, Fresh Ideas & More

Chatroom Reminder

It had been awhile since we reminded our reader of our daily stock and options traders chats on Skype. They are a free and open forum for any of our readers to participate in, and a great way to get extra ideas that aren’t included in our morning reports.

Often the hottest plays don’t become apparent until just prior to, or just after the open, and those are the ones that you can catch in our chats, along with sharing ideas of your own.

DRUS was a big winner uncovered by DJ, a regular participant in the chats, yesterday just seconds into the session. Following DRUS being mentioned in the room, the stock ran from .0057-.0325, for whopping gains of 470%

As you can see, there were some SPY calls mentioned in the room as well, and those too did very well on the day. Both those, and DRUS appear to want to continue moving today as well.

As stated above, all of our subscribers are free to join in these chats, by simply sending a Skype contact request to username ‘stocksumo‘.

Fresh Options Idea:
We’ll also look to roll up strike prices and observe the SPY Weekly $272.50-274 Calls

South American Gold Corp. SAGD

What did make it into our premarket newsletters yesterday was SAGD, a stock whose company is about to make a shift into the cannabis space. While it didn’t begin to run just yet, we’re still very interested in the current setup of the chart.

We have posted a video chart going over why we believe SAGD is worthy of continued observation which we encourage you to view by clicking the graphic below:

UpperSolution.com URSL

Another honorable mention from yesterday’s premarket report is URSL, and it too is one we’ll want to continue to keep an eye on based on its setup on the chart.

We identified URSL as a potential bounce play yesterday, and the stock subsequently rebounded from a low of 1.70 to 2.27; a 34% swing. Further recovery could be in order so this one will remain on our radars into the holiday break.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PIXY Review & More

ShiftPixy, Inc. PIXY

As we were mentioning on Monday morning, we included PIXY in Friday’s report on its first ever trading day. Generally speaking we don’t tend to cast our lot in with brand new IPO’s, but a trusted source in our network gave us a heads-up on PIXY, and didn’t let us down.

We of course passed it along to our readers immediately in our premarket report on Friday, and the stock, after two trading days has made some really nice progress.

From the initial opening price of 6.30 we observed in PIXY, it went on to hit a high of 9.70 to kick off the short trading week on Monday. That marks a two-day swing of 54% for this newly-trading juggernaut. We’ll continue to be on the lookout for PIXY to keep recording higher base levels of support.

Opexa Therapeutics, Inc. OPXA

An honorable mention from Monday’s report is OPXA, especially considering that sessions just prior to a holiday break are typically low-key affairs.

The stock put up a solid intraday performance, running 35% from a low of a dollar up to 1.35, and pulling back into the close at 1.15. However, premarket activity this morning has seen the stock trade back to just below Monday’s high. This is one we’ll want to keep on our radar for the time being.

Aphria, Inc. APHQF

We’ve been familiar with APHQF for quite a time, but today will be the first occasion we’ve actually mentioned it in our reports.

Today, we wanted to point out that the company released two PR’s yesterday, the more significant of which was the announcement of a 1-year cannabis supply deal with a licensed Canadian medical provider which will bring upwards of $5M in revenue beginning midway through next year. We’ll provide links to both PR’s so you can check them out for yourself.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: WOLV Video Chart, Options & More

Wolverine Technologies Corp. WOLV

We want to place WOLV on watch this morning for a couple of reasons. Apart from coming off of a recent support level and showing some bottom-bounce activity, we also like the involvement of David Chalk, formerly of the TV show, Tech Talk with David Chalk.

David recently signed a purchase agreement with the company, with plans for him to come on board as a tech consultant once the transaction is completed, so someone of his notoriety putting skin in the game on WOLV definitely gets our attention. And, as we said, the stock is also interesting from a technical standpoint.

View the following video presentation of the chart going over what makes WOLV an attractive play at the moment:

Solid Picks From Yesterday

We had a couple of the stock ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report pan out for some good intraday moves:

Worlds, Inc. WDDD
– Trading Range: .017-.029 – Gain: 71%

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI –
Trading Range: .205-.255 – Gain: 24%

Added Note: We’ve been tracking Intermolecular, Inc. IMI since Wednesday and it has made small increases, reaching higher highs each day. We want to continue to watch this multi-day mover.

Macy’s Inc. M – Options Update

We reminded our readers yesterday of just how adept we’ve become at spotting prime options trading opportunities on the heels of impressive earnings calls, and Macy’s was ultimately a fantastic target for us in that regard.

We specified a target range that included seven sets of contracts, and multi-bag single-session moves were made by every single one of them! Our selections, the M Weekly $36.50-39.50 Calls, turned out the following gains on the day:

$36.50 Calls
– Range:  1.81-3.76 – Max Gain: 108%
$37 Calls – Range: 1.55-3.30 – Max Gain: 113%
$37.50 Calls – Range: 1.23-2.61 – Max Gain: 112%

Fresh Options Ideas:

We also want to keep a close eye on a couple of other earnings-related plays. Both JC Penny’s (JCP) and Nordstrom’s (JWN) have beaten expectations on the Street, so we’re going to have some ideas standing at the ready for each of them:

JCP 08/19 $9.50-10.50 Calls

JWN 08/19 $50-55 Calls
