Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Recap

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY

As we close out another solid week of stock and options trading, we just wanted to provide one final update on the SPY Calls we made earlier in the week. The markets dipped in the first half of the session yesterday, but recovered throughout the rest of the day.

Our idea from our premarket report on Wednesday morning of the SPY Weekly $296-297 Calls all produced double-bag intraday opportunities, and the two sets that we rolled up to include on our watchlist, the $297.50 and $298 Calls, kicked in multi-bag performances of their own.

$296 Calls – Range: .99-2.16 – Max Gain: 118%
$296.50 Calls – Range: .74-1.76 – Max Gain: 138%
$297 Calls – Range: .55-1.39 – Max Gain: 153%

$297.50 Calls – Range: .40-1.05 – Max Gain: 163%
$298 Calls – Range: .27-.77 – Max Gain: 185%

Just as there was yesterday, there may be another dip and rip chance for opportunistic traders to seize upon, so we’ll leave these plays on our radar as we finish out the week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Reviews

OPTIONS REVIEW

We formulated two options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, and with the help of a gap-and-go session for the overall markets, we saw appreciable gains in each and every contract we had designated for observation.

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY -The SPY is always our go-to when we have a gut feeling about market sentiments, and the number of times we’ve found success with trading its options is practically uncountable at this point. Yesterday’s idea was no exception.

Our targets, the SPY Weekly 292-293.50 Calls performed admirably, providing ourselves and our readers with the following profit chances:

$292 Calls – Range: .91-2.04 – Max Gain: 124%
$292.50 Calls – Range: .60-1.53 – Max Gain: 155%
$293 Calls – Range: .33-1.07 – Max Gain: 224%
$293.50 Calls – Range: .14-.61 – Max Gain: 336%

_____

PVH Corp. PVH

Following a large Form-4 buy on the part of the CEO, we were interested in a longer-term play on PVH, highlighting the PVH 09/20 $75-85 Calls and those were able to get some traction on our first day of observation.

With an expiration still two weeks away, we’ll have plenty of time to realize any further gains, but the first day performance is certainly worthy of mentioning.

$75 Calls – Range: 5.10-7.02 – Max Gain: 38%
$80 Calls – Range: 2.00-3.40 – Max Gain: 70%
$85 Calls – Range: .55-1.25 – Max Gain: 127%

PCT Ltd. PCTL – Recap

We tracked PCTL to some pretty impressive gains following our initial alert on the play just under two weeks ago. We continued tagging it in our extended watchlist into this week, and after a brief consolidation, we observed more bullish activity out of the stock.

On Wednesday, PCTL dipped to a low of .0095, very briefly existing as a subpenny play once again, before making its next move. That led to a high of .02 yesterday, which represents a two-day swing of 111%
