Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Reminder

CANNABIS REMINDER

We took full advantage of the recent earnings season with a ton of great options ideas, but things are cooling down on that front for the moment. To start off this week, we’ll put our ever-continuing options search on hold for today, to bring our readers an annual reminder.

Each year as the summer season begins to wind down, we like to pull together a sizable watchlist for the cannabis space. The Autumn season has traditionally been the legal and medical marijuana industries’ most active in terms of movement on charts. The pattern has repeated itself year after year, so with the market appearing relatively quiet at the moment, now is a good time to reassert our interest in cannabis sector stocks for the coming of the fall rush.

The following is not an exhaustive list, merely a few old favorites, but we ensourage our readers to seek out and monitor any stock that is related to the field:

AGTK, ACBFF, CANN, NGTF, MSRT, POTN, PNTV, CNBX, OWCP

Avalon Holdings Corp. AWX

We’d also like to quickly share the performance of AWX following its inclusion in our premarket watchlist on Friday. Early on in the session, the stock ran from a low of 4.52, and went on to hit 6.79, which works out to a respectable intraday pop of 50%  That was sufficient to register as the NASDAQ’s #2 mover on the day.

Fresh Options Ideas:
Energen Corp. EGN 09/21 $75 $ 77.50 Calls
Neilsen Holdings plc NLSN 09/21 $25-27 Calls

Extended Watchlist:
GST, AKER, SYY, DPW, IZEA

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas, LEXG & More

Lithium Exploration Group, Inc. LEXG

We’ve been tracking the activity in LEXG for quite a time, and the volatility and price action in this play has provided for us on more than one occasion.

Yesterday was yet another of those occasions, with the stock putting in a solid performance. LEXG traded in a range from .0036-.0045, an intraday move of 25% which came on a little over thrice the monthly average volume.

The moves we’ve seen since putting LEXG on watch in December have been significantly more impressive as well. We saw a low of .0013 around the holidays, putting our overall observed increase in just over three weeks at 246%

Options Ideas

We’ve been so wrapped up in tracking various stocks over the first couple weeks of 2017, that the following will be our first options ideas of the year!

Netflix, Inc. NFLX –  NFLX has been generally trending upward for around two months, hitting new all-time highs this week. Yesterday’s earnings and updates, including the fact that the streaming giant had added a record 7 million new subscribers over the last quarter.

We want to potentially take advantage of a continued run, even if its preceded by a dip-and-rip pattern. As long as it holds support above the $139 mark, we’re going to interested in tracking the NFLX Weekly  $139-143 Calls.

_____

Tesla Motors, Inc. TSLA – TSLA is another big board stock that has been on a bullish tear of late. The stock has been stacking gains on top of gains over the past 6 weeks.

This morning, it received an upgrade from Morgan Stanley, and we’ll hope to use that added attention to see some more good moves in the stock. Accordingly, we’ll have the TSLA Weekly $240-245 Calls on watch today and tomorrow.

Extended Watchlist
VPRM, CNBX, PPCH, MLCG, XTRN, ANY

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: NDEV Recap, Pot Stocks Rock & More

Novus Acquisition & Development Corp. NDEV

We were just mentioning yesterday morning how we had first begun tracking NDEV on December 12th, and had subsequently witnessed a huge 250% move to the upside from our observed low of .30 to a high of 1.05.

Some people might have figured that the party was over after such a significant rise, but NDEV had other plans. The stock kicked off the short week yesterday on an impressive note, managing the biggest single-session swing we’ve seen yet, running from its morning low of .731 to a new high of 1.51. That was a super intraday push of 107% and the new high marked an overall jump from our .30 low amounting to 403%

Momentous Entertainment Group, Inc. MMEG

Speaking of continued movers, a week ago today was when we caught on with MMEG, and it has been nothing but bullish activity since then.

We initially observed a low of .0017 before the stock shot to .0055, a move of 224%. But it too kicked off the short week on a high note, with an intraday spike of 55% as dipped-and-ripped from a morning low of .0044 to a new high of .0068. It also extended our total observed gain on the play in less than a week to an even 300%

Ecolocap Solutions, Inc. ECOS

New to our reports yesterday was ECOS, which produced two noteworthy intraday moves during the session. It first ran from .003 to a high of .0048 (+60%) before pulling back to bounce off a low of
.0025 and return to .0037, adding another 48% to its cumulative gain totals on the day.

A stock with this kind of volatility is definitely worthy of continued observation.

Provectus Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. PVCT

We also want to provide a quick update on PVCT which we tagged in yesterday’s extended watchlist. The stock made a modest but solid 28% move from .018-.023, and we’ll want to continue to keep an eye peeled for signs of a continued uptrend.

Cannabis Stocks Rocking Again

Last but most certainly not least, we want to share an image of yesterday’s top traded OTC stocks, nearly all of which are in the cannabis space, which we’ve been drawing heavy attention to over the past several months. We released a reminder video to that effect over the weekend and published it in yesterday’s report, and were obviously met by a huge sector-wide surge.

Moving forward here are a few specific cannabis related stocks to continue to keep a close eye on: AGTK, FTPM, MJTK, MYDX, PMCB, GRNH, AMMJ, CNBX

Oceanic Research & Recovery, Inc. ORRV – Chatroom Call

We spotted ORRV in our chatroom yesterday, signaling it to our members at .0002 x .0003, and it went on to close at the high of day of .0008. That was good for a single session gain of 167%, and since ORRV closed at its high on abnormally high volume, we want to place it on momentum watch in the event of a possible continuation today.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, Bottom-Plays & More

New Options Ideas

After a relatively subdued half-day to close out the short week on Friday, we’re going to wipe the slate and start fresh today with a couple of options ideas. Based off of our initial scans and the premarket activity, we think each of these plays has the potential to help us start the week on a high note.

AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. AU – For this one, we’re attracted to the positioning on the chart, where, as you can see below, the stock has just begun to rebound off of its lowest PPS in roughly 9 months. Add that to some bullish premarket activity, along with a number of ripening indicators, and we’re very interested in the possibilities.

We’re going to be focusing in on the AU 1/20 $11 and $12 Calls, which gives us more than enough time to see the extended recovery we’re looking for.

_____

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. CTSH – Our interest was roused by CTSH in this morning’s routine scan, and it too is currently in a favorable position on the chart, coupled with an appreciable premarket gap-up which could lead to a strong session performance.

For this one, we’re going to be looking at the CTSH Weekly $57-60 Calls.

Lithium Exploration Group, Inc. LEXG

Here we have another prime bottom-play with LEXG, which has managed to put together a pretty good rebound off of 6-month lows over the past few sessions.

Currently trading at a low multiple around .0025, we’re looking at a stock that ran from similar levels to over .02 back in August. Even a fraction of such a move from current PPS levels would equate to sizable gain opportunities, so we’ll be putting LEXG on watch in the days and weeks ahead.

_____

CollabRx, Inc. RNVA – This one belongs in the bottom-bouncer category as well. RNVA is coming off of its recently established 52-week low, and appears to be geared up for a continued comeback. We’re going to have this one on close watch as well.

All-Cannabis Extended Watchlist:
AMMJ, TRTC, MJNA, MCOA, CNBX, HEMP, VAPE, AGTK, MJTK

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: This Week’s Big Runners

Marijuana Company of America, Inc. MCOA

As a part of our general focus on marijuana related stocks, we’ve been hot on the trail of MCOA, first bringing it into the mix early last month (at a low of .0094) and keeping it the conversation all through this week as its gains have gone exponential.

Leading into yesterday’s report, we had already witnessed a move of more than 500% and the stock followed that up with yet another stellar performance on the day. It traded up a solid 70% from a low of .072 to a new high of .1225.

That means that a stock we signaled for observation one month ago tomorrow, went from subpenny and smashed through the dime barrier, which definitely isn’t something you see every day! Neither is a twelve-bagger of any kind, yet the overall run we’ve seen from MCOA in four weeks now amounts to 1203%

Cannabics, Inc. CNBX

CNBX is of course another pot play that we jumped on early last month when we began heavily urging our readers to take heed of the second Green Rush that we’re currently experiencing, and we’ve stuck with it consistently. Subsequent to our report on October 5th we saw it trading for as little as .06, and the epic run it has mounted since then has taken it past the elusive dollar barrier!

Yesterday it posted another nice intraday move going from .75 to 1.12 (+52%) and measuring from that six-cent low, it equates to a remarkable overall run of 1766%

Medical Marijuana, Inc. MJNA

At this point there are so many huge performers in the cannabis space that it’s beginning to become difficult to keep up with all the winners, but we need to take a minute to update our readers on MJNA, which is a play we’ve followed for years.

Like many other pot stocks, it has enjoyed a huge rush of upward movement in recent weeks. We tagged it in our report on September 23rd, saw a low of .04, and yesterday, in a session with absolutely enormous dollar volume, it hit .23. A hefty 475% move has been the result, and as we keep saying, with elections coming in just a few days and medical and recreational marijuana on several ballots, all of these cannabis stocks could still stand to make big swings to the upside.

Galenfeha, Inc. GLFH

Speaking of multi-day runners, starting on Monday morning, we’ve been steadily tracking GLFH through what has been a series of solid daily increases that have amounted to a fairly impressive 3-day run.

As we’ve stated previously, GLFH is a low-volume, low-float play that doesn’t need a whole lot in the way of buying pressure to effect appreciable upward momentum, and we’ve certainly seen that dynamic exemplified.

Yesterday, the stock traded in a range from a low of .0429 on up to a new high of .057, for a daily advance of 33% and a total increase of 119% over our observed low from Monday (.026). In the event of a dip, we’d ideally like to see it maintain support at the 200DMA of .0498. Failing that, we’ll remain interested as long as it doesn’t fall below our witnessed low.
