Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Review of Friday’s Half-Session & More

Repros Therapeutics, Inc. RPRX

We’re looking at RPRX as a potential momentum-play this morning. After drastically falling off of a precipice at the end of last month, the stock spent several weeks stepping its way down to a new 52-week low. However, in the few sessions since that time RPRX has been making a nice rebound that warrants our putting this play on watch today.

As you can see on the included chart there are a number of bullish signals in effect. There’s also a good bit of real estate between the current PPS and the next area of resistance on the chart, thanks to the stock’s big decline in October. A return to levels prior to that point would mean gains approaching the 100%-mark from here, so we’ll reserve a space on our watchlist for RPRX.

Pleasant Kids, Inc. PLKD  – Options

Since our first mention of this stock back on October 13th, we’ve witnessed one heck of a run from PLKD, with very few setbacks along the way.

We’ve showed the epic move the stock has made using a trendline on the following chart, running from our observed low of .0581 all the way up to the new high registered on Friday. at .279. That’s a mammoth 380% swing, and with the way things have been going for PLKD of late, it would be a mistake for us to let it slip off of our radars at this point.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT

BONT has proved itself to be an immensely successful bottom-call for us over the past week. We re-introduced this past winner on Monday morning, upon which time we would witness the stock trading at a low of 1.25. It proceeded to record four consecutive sessions of higher highs and higher lows throughout last week, just as we’d hoped to see.

BONT’s fantastic recovery carried it to a new high of 2.83 on Friday, which represented an intraweek increase of 126%, congratulations to anyone who made a play on BONT during the short week!

HydroPhi Technologies, Inc. HPTG We’d also like to comment on HPTG, which made an appearance in Friday’s premarket report and ended the short week with a long intraday run from .0027 to .005. It worked out to a 85% spike, and despite being just a half-day, the stock made that move on heavier-than-average volume.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PZOO News & More

Pazoo, Inc. PZOO

We come back to touch base with PZOO this morning as the company has released an update on its marijuana testing facility in Las Vegas. It’s significant in that PZOO has secured a loan for the capital to put the finishing touches on the laboratory, the terms of which state that the full amount will be paid from the proceeds of the lab itself.

The company also made some lofty claims, namely that it has such an impressive roster of clients-in-waiting, that when the labs do open, they will be in a position to break even in the first month of operation! We’re being told that this cash infusion will have things on track for a November grand opening, so we’re going to begin to monitor PZOO more heavily in the weeks ahead as more updates are sure to be forthcoming.

We also want to point out the current setup on the PZOO chart on the annotated snapshot below:

WHIPPANY, N.J., Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Pazoo, Inc. (OTC: PZOO) is pleased to report that Pazoo has received a $200,000 Loan to be paid back from the revenue and earnings of the Las Vegas Facility.  There can be no debt to equity conversion as this is a more conventional form of financing.

The Note holder was so impressed by the Las Vegas Lab, and more so by the amount of growers that have committed to exclusively test with Pazoo, Inc subsidiary MA & Associates, LLC, that he was comfortable to be paid back from the revenue and earnings that will be generated from the Lab.  In fact, based on the commitments from growers, Pazoo management is confident that the lab will be at least break even within the first 30 days of operation, and will quickly transition to profitability.

Pazoo expects to have the Colorado testing facility to officially be under the control of Harris Lee Colorado, LLC on or about October 14 and have the Las Vegas Facility operational and testing product in the latter part of the 4th quarter.

David Cunic, CEO, states, “The moment is finally upon us. This is going to be an watershed 4th quarter for Pazoo and hoping for an explosive 1st quarter of 2016. We are very excited for the ownership transition in Colorado.  We have several growers in Colorado that are just waiting for Harris Lee Colorado, LLC to take over so they can begin testing with Harris Lee Colorado, LLC. Everyone can just feel the momentum and it has energized the team to see what’s in front of us.”  >> Full PR

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh News Plays & More

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

We mentioned FREE in yesterday’s morning report as a bottom-play that was gaining momentum. The stock had begun to show signs of life after recently establishing a new 52-week low, and our focus paid off almost instantly.

We witnessed a slight dip to a low of .1113 shortly before 10AM, after which time FREE proceeded to surge its way to a daily high of .179. It registered as a 61% intraday swing before the stock tapered back to close at .091.

We’ll continue to observe the activity on the FREE chart as the week progresses, as there is a fair chance that we will continue to see sizable swings in PPS.

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW

Speaking of major runners, the call we made on AXPW on Monday continued to extend its gains early in yesterday’s session. We caught this gem at a low of .0421, and watched as it went on to touch .36 before it began its pullback.

The move extended the total range we witnessed over just a two-session span to a whopping 755%

For us to remain interested in AXPW for further opportunities, we’ll need to see it maintain support at or above yesterday’s swing low of .14. Key resistance is sitting between .18-19.

Fresh News Plays

Synergy Pharmaceutical, Inc. SGYP
came with some positive news this morning, and is gapping up heavily in the premarket. We’ll look for a potential dip-and-rip scenario to occur following the opening bell.

_______

Blue Shere Corp. BLSP announced a tentative share buyback program this morning that would allow for the company to acquire up to $500K-worth of its common stock from the open market and/or via privately arranged transactions. Couple that with a chart that has the look of a classic bottom-play, and we’re very interested to include BLSP on our watchlist this midweek.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Review & More

Yesterday’s Options Ideas

The options ideas contained in yesterday’s premarket report ended up performing extremely well for us, further outlining why we focus so often on options trading.

For American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. AEO, we were interested in $15-16 Weekly Calls after noticing its earnings beat, and we met with possible gains in all cases:

-The $15 Calls traded as low as .80 before hitting a high of 1.25, a gain of 56%

-The 15.50 Calls traded as low as .30, and hit a subsequent high of .75; an intraday increase of 150%

-The 16$ calls traded as low as .16 and hit a high of .35, which is equal to a 118% move.

Abercrombie & Fitch ANF was trending in the opposite direction, so we ventured a few conservative ideas* for Weekly $23-24 Puts and the stock continued its decline throughout the session, enabling considerable profits:

-The $23 Puts saw a low of .87 low and closed at 2.74 for an impressive 215% run.

-The $23.50’s rose from a 1.20 low and ended up closing at 3.00, marking a 150% jump.

– The $24 Puts went from a 1.53 up as high as 3.84, an intraday gain of 151%

This morning, ANF is continuing its decline in premarket trading, so traders who chose to hold any of these contracts would be up even more than the figures listed here.

*Please note that the contracts we selected, while they obviously did extremely well, were fairly deep into the money so as to play it relatively safe. Traders looking to assume a bit more risk could have chosen to strike outside of the money, and it would have paid off in a big way. For an example, we can refer to the ANF $21 Puts which traded in a range from .10-.90. (+800%).

Infosonics Corp. IFON

After appearing in yesterday’s extended watchlist, IFON rapidly produced a hearty early-morning rip. The stock opened up at 2.34 and ran as high as 3.18 in the first ten minutes of trading! Quick-witted traders could have come away with rapid gains of up to 36%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BCLI Recap & More

BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics, Inc. BCLI

2015 is upon us and our first order of business is to address one of the stocks we tagged in Wednesday’s premarket report. BCLI had a strong session, as it pushed its way up from an early low of 4.02 to an aftyernoon high of 4.94; a solid +23% performance.

The strong session was apparently aided by the pre-emptive PR the company released which served as a reminder that results from Phase 2a trials of its ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) treatment would be released on Monday. This morning the stock is gapping up wildly as anticipation grows, having already hit a premarket high of 7.28, which represents a total increase of 81% over the low we observed on New Year’s Eve.

Monday’s data release, which is expected to be positive, should most likely produce one of two effects. Either the results will beat expectations and facilitate another strong move, or they will fail to meet the mark and cause a pullback. In case of the latter, there may be rebound opportunities waiting just around the corner.

RedHill BioPharma Ltd. RDHL & NephroGenex, Inc. NRX

We also had this pair of standouts appear in Wednesday’s report, with each stock making a similar move. Both started the day with significant spikes in PPS, followed by a tapering off into the close.

RDHL made a sensational jump beginning almost immediately at the open running from 12.52 on up to 17.85 before its pullback, an intraday spike equaling 42.5%. Coincidentally, the stock ended the session having traded 42.5X its 3-month average volume.

NRX
saw an initial low of 12.96, followed by a healthy 39% run to a high of 17.98. This play would offer one more opportunity in the form of an intraday swing as it came down and rebounded off of the 12.60-mark before returning to 15.15, an added 20% move, bringing the day’s cumulative total of possible gains to 59% .
