Penny Stock Runners, Fresh Options Ideas

Solid Penny Runners

In yesterday morning’s premarket report, we generated an extended watchlist comprised solely of OTC-traded penny stocks. DRYS, FREE & Extended Watchlist

DryShips, Inc. DRYS

DRYS appeared in Tuesday morning’s extended watchlist, after which time we observed a low of 3.40. Yesterday the stock hit a high of 3.99, marking an overnight move of 17% This morning, it looks like it is gapping up, so we will be monitoring this play today for added gains that could result from the current momentum.

Our first ever mention of DRYS was back on August 22nd, when the stock was trading around 2.20. From that point, yesterday’s high represents a move of 81% As you can see on the chart included, DRYS has been on a steady uptrend since it first hit our radar.

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

We had FREE on bottom-watch back in July, and it wasn’t too long after that when we saw the stock touch a low of .1652 (08/01). After generally trading sideways for the month of August, FREE began a rise that has lasted all the way through this month, culminating in yesterday’s .59 high, a move of  257% off of its bottom.

This morning it looks like FREE is gapping up into the mid-.60’s range, so it seems further gains are on the menu. Today the company reported details of a deal that will clean a significant amount of debt from its balance sheet:

Extended Watchlist:

FLOW, KNDI, LLEN, ACI, BLDP, CRRS

CLNO, SPY Options & Extended Watchlist

Cleantech Transit, Inc. CLNO

This is the stuff that penny-traders’ dreams are made of- CLNO has been an absolute powerhouse ever since we first alerted it at .0055. A mind-boggling 4972% (@ yesterday’s high) later, and we are still talking about this stock on nearly a daily basis.

Even for those of you who didn’t catch this one from the very beginning of our coverage are faring extremely well. If you just showed up to the party, from this week’s low of .10, yesterday’s .279 high represented a 179% move.

We want to congratulate anyone who has been able to make gains in any amount off of CLNO. Lately doing so has seemed like shooting fish in a barrel. We are currently in uncharted territory- every uptick we see from here is a new all-time high. As with any stock in blue sky breakout mode, we want to remain open to taking advantage of a continuance of the trend, while at the same time being on a sharp lookout for any course-corrective pullbacks, which are obviously common in such a situation.

Options Trading – SPY Calls

We’ve hit the nail on the head with every selection of SPY Calls we’ve made this week. In every instance there have been opportunities to make significant profits. Take yesterday’s report for instance. We stated that: “We are going to look at moving our strike price to $159-160, and possibly even $161 should yesterday’s trend continue.”

The $160 Calls, in the first hour of trading, went from 1.28-2.00 (+56%), then dipped as low as 1.35 before surging back to 1.82 (+35%), bringing us total intraday gains of up to 91%.

The $161 Calls went from .69-1.17 (+70%), and another move from .68-1.03 (+51%). In total that gave us a chance at gains of up to 121% intraday.

Since we’ve had so much success with SPY Calls this week, and have seen such a significant uptrend, we want to remain on alert. We could see a decrease in buying pressure in the overall markets as we head into a holiday week, which could lead to a reversal in the SPY. We would of course then be turning our focus to the $161 Puts.

Extended Watchlist:
VSUL, TWER, RENN, DNDN, ACI, MCP

CHTP, LBSR, XCLL, ACI & Today’s Extended Watchlist

Chelsea Therapeutics International, Ltd. CHTP

CHTP appeared on our Extended Watchlist on Tuesday after we saw a large gap-down occurring pre-market. The stock saw a low of .70 where it found support, only to turn around to hit .9399, for a possible intraday gain of 34%

After our first day of following CHTP, we like what we see. We are going to monitor this one with a more long-term approach.

____

LBSR was added as a momentum play on Tuesday, the stock came out of the gate stong, running 28% intraday from .039 to .049, before consolidating and closing out the day at .037.

The volume we saw on Tuesday certainly validated our classifying the stock as a momentum play. Should the momentum continue, it is likely that we will see additional opportunities to rake in a profit.

____

XcelMobility Inc. XCLL

Our call of XCLL on Tuesday landed us a spot on Penny Stock Rumble’s top gainers list, a feat we have now accomplished twice in as many weeks.

XCLL was a great call for us. We swooped in and caught the stock off of its 52-wk low. On Friday, after our first mention, shares were as cheap as .11. Just three short trading days later, the stock had gone up 150% to close out the day on Tuesday at .25.

According to the chart, the next point of resistance should come at .36. If the stock can’t breach that level, it is likely that we’ll see a pullback.

____

Arch Coal, Inc. ACI

We called ACI a bottom-fishers dream on June 18th, it was as low as 5.41 a few days following that, and on Tuesday hit a high of 7.63. That marks a gain of 41%

____

AAPL (Options- We pointed out the $600 Weekly Calls on Tuesday, they ran from 2.47-4.02, dipped to 2.16, only to close at 3.10. With this type of volatility, there is ample opportunity to pull down substantial gains. )

ICPA, YIPI, IDOI, EEDG

RENU – Renuen Corp. & Today’s Extended Watchlist

Renuen Corp RENU

RENU has appeared in our newsletter and on our extended watchlist over the past couple of months.

In May, we saw it run from a low of .0016 to a high of .0073, for a 356% gain. Following that run, we experienced a consolidation, where RENU found support in the low .002’s.

Yesterday the stock began to perk its head up, hitting a high of .004. The key to the session was the breaking of the 50 & 100DMA, (.0033 & .0034).

RENU is receiving a “Buy” Rating from Barchart.com

We feel that the indicators are setting up the possibility for another big run, so we will want to remain vigilant, and keep RENU on our radars.
