Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options 5-Pack

GlaxoSmithKline plc GSK – Final Recap

Wednesday morning, we formulated an idea for the GSK options chain, which we updated our reader on just yesterday. But after a second consecutive solid session, we did observe some new highs in all three of our designated contracts, which were the GSK Weekly $39.50-40.50 Calls.

The updated two-day swing ranges on each of those ideas:

$39.50 Calls – Range: .65-1.40 – Max Gain: 115%
$40 Calls – Range: .15-1.00 – Max Gain: 566%
$40.50 Calls – Range: .10-.60 – Max Gain: 500%

GSK just continues the trend of fantastic options calls we’ve made in 2019 so far. While we don’t have exact figures worked out, it would seem at least 80-90% of the options ideas we’ve formulated have produced multi-bag gain opportunities, and we invite our readers to go through our newsletter feed at BlueHorseshoeStocks.com and see for yourself!

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Recap

We submitted two separate options trading ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report, the first of which being the AAPL Weekly $160-162.50 Calls. It’s beeen quite some time since we played with the AAPL chain, but it is the stock that originally brought us into the fold of options day and swing trading that we’ve adopted as one of our main functions.

It came as no surprise when the Fed announced no interest rate hike yesterday that the markets responded bullishly and allowed for some very nice multi-bag moves on our designated targets.

$160 Calls – Range: 2.14-6.32 – Max Gain: 195%
$162.50 Calls – Range: 1.05-4.19 – Max Gain: 299%

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – Recap

Our second set of options ideas from yesterday were the SPY Weekly $264-265.50 Calls, and of course, those also fared well with the SPY being an excellent market analog, and another well that we revisit on a regular basis for short term options plays.

$264 Calls – Range: 1.07-4.74 – Max Gain: 343%

SPY Weekly $264-265.50 Calls

TrovaGene, Inc. TROV – Review

We last mentioned TROV on December 18th, and at the time the stock was trading down to an annual low of .503. Since then, we’ve seen a slow and steady recovery, which was kicked into a higher gear yesterday following news of Trovagene and PoC Capital entering an agreement to fund the development of Onvansertib in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer.

The stock ended up hitting .73, marking a 45% rise since we mentioned it. We will want to continue monitoring TROV for further advances from this point forward.

Logitech International, Inc. LOGI

We’ve also taken notice of LOGI on the heels of its Q3 earnings report, wherein the company has reported record sales for the quarter, not to mention raising guidance for the full year. As a result it presently appears to be the most attractive stock on the earnings calendar.

We are going to signal a range of calls in the LOGI chain to observe in the days and weeks ahead–  the LOGI 02/15 $34-35 Calls.
