Cautious Yet Bold Options Strategy Keeps Bearing Fruit

Yesterday’s Options Success:

It seems like the winds of fortune have been gusting in our favor for quite some time now, with the options targets we outlined in yesterday’s morning report all producing gain opportunities on some level. That makes for the fourth straight session in which every single one of our interests has given traders a shot as compounding their funds.

Our daily focus was trained on the AVAV 07/15 $75-70 Puts, the GIS 07/15 $70-72.50 Calls, and the MKC 07/15 $90-80 Puts, which all put forth some measure of intraday run in what amounted to a bit of a choppy day for the markets as a whole. Things in that regard have become rather harder to predict, but we’ve been trying very hard to select potential plays with a good risk/reward balance. Here’s where our efforts led yesterday:

First item on our to-do list this morning is to review our winning options ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report. Two of our designated sets of potential trading targets turned in multibag performances on the day, in what was a session of mixed results for the markets in general.

Our winning selections were the HD Weekly $342.50-335 Puts, and the DWAC Weekly $92-96 Calls, which both came off of the daily earnings play list. We went short on Home Depot and long on DWAC, and here were the intraday results on those ideas:

Huge Day for Fresh Options Plays

Thursday’s Options Clean Sweep:

Our 2022 has started off with a bang just a couple of weeks into it, in which the vast majority of the options plays we’ve signaled interest in have produced excellent results.

Yesterday was no exception to that, with all three of our designated targets yielding the opportunity to log multibag intraday gains. We were after the KBH Weekly $44-46 Calls, the TSM Weekly $136-139 Calls, and the DAL Weekly $40-42 Calls, and despite a rather poor day for the markets as a whole each one of these bullish ideas made a bullish move on the day.
