Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup & More

Options Review

Apple, Inc. AAPL  – AAPL beat on earnings as well as kicking off sales on the iPhone X, and two out of three of the AAPL Weekly $170-175 Calls* we signaled for possible daytrades ended up recording some nice moves on the day.

Our first order of business to kick off the fresh week is to recap those moves followed by another set of winners we chose on Friday.

The AAPL $170 Calls ran from 1.63-3.82 for potential gains of up to 135%, while the , $172.50s made an even nicer move from .31 to 1.36 for an intraday rip of 339%

____

Arista Networks, Inc. ANET  – The set of ideas we formulated for ANET on Friday were the 11/17 $195-210 Calls, and all three sets of contracts in that range provided traders with the chance at multi-bag intraday gains.

$195 Calls – Range: 3.15-9.30 – Max Gain: 195%
$200 Calls – Range: 2.40-5.80 – Max Gain: 142%
$210 Calls – Range: 1.00-2.11 – Max Gain: 111%

Fresh Idea:

For a new potential play, we’re looking at Pandora Media, Inc. P which took a gut punch on Friday, falling to its lowest prices since early this summer. The last time the stock was this oversold, it followed it up with a run from 6.75 to to 10.00.

We’re going to go out a couple of months on the expiration and track the  P 01/19 $6 and $7 Calls so we have plenty of time to see Pandora make the rebound we’re after.

Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. KERX

We’re going to put KERX on watch after noticing multiple ripe indicators this morning. The stock bounced of a recent bottom and close with strength at the 200DMA on Friday. With the MACD gearing up for a bullish cross and the RSI just about to crack the 50-line, we’ll be interested to track the activity in KERX in coming sessions.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates, Options & More

First thing’s first- we have a few of updates from our premarket report on Tuesday, that we held over until today in favor of the Special Report which we published yesterday.

Neothetics, Inc. NEOT

One of the real standouts from our premarket report on Tuesday morning turned out to be NEOT, which stair-stepped its way steadily up the chart all day long.

From its low of .83, the stock traded up as high as 1.99, which worked out to an intraday increase of 140% and the move occurred on extremely high volume, to the tune of more than 85X the monthly average.

Yesterday, NEOT transitioned into consolidation mode off of that impressive high, so we’ll be monitoring it for support, because the recent volatility suggests that a significant rebound could ensue.

 TransEnterix, Inc. TRXC

We caught TRXC on Monday after it was reported that the company’s robotic surgery device got regulatory approval. The result was a very nice run from a low of  2.15 to 3.05 (+42%) on that day. Tuesday, we mentioned that we’d be on the lookout for further gains, and the stock did go on to hit new highs.

Tuesday TRXC ran from 3.28 all the way up to an even 5.00, an intraday gain of 52% and an overall increase of 133% from our observed low at the beginning of this week.

Yesterday, much like NEOT, TRXC began to pull back, and so we’ll also want to continuie watching this one for a potential dip-and-rip type formation.

Firefish, Inc. FRFS – Chatroom Call

FRFS was .0047 when we alerted it our trader’s chatroom on Tuesday morning. As of yesterday’s high of .077, we had witnessed a mind-blowing two-day swing of 1538% With the kind of price action and volatility we’ve seen exhibited by FRFS in the past two days, we’ll definitely want to keep our eyes peeled for further activity.

This play is another good example of why we encourage our members to get involved with this aspect of our daily activities. Ideas that come to us after 9AM Eastern don’t make it into our premarket reports, so the chats are your way to keep up with what’s moving in real time.

Ulta Beauty, Inc ULTA – Options Idea

We’re looking at ULTA as a potential recovery play into the holiday season, as the stock just bounced off of a new annual low this week. Last week, a huge block of insider buying came in, on the order of more than $21M.

For some extended-term recovery ideas, we’re going to signal  and track the ULTA 12/01 $202.50-212.50 Calls and the 12/15 $210-225 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, News Play & More

Insmed, Inc. INSM – Options Review

We originally submitted our idea for the INSM options chain on Tuesday morning, tagging the INSM 09/15 $27-30 Calls on the heels of the company’s release of promising Phase-3 topline study results for its rare lung disease treatment.

Yesterday morning we updated our readers after the stock had made a marginal move which allowed for notable gains in just one of the four contracts in our observed range. However, we doubled down with our interest in these plays, mentioning that it seemed likely for the stock to provide a better chance at more sweeping gains and that’s just what happened.

The following moves were made yesterday afternoon which facilitated solid potential profits for anyone who was following along with the action. Those highly impressive gains were as follows:

$27 Calls – Range: .95-3.00 – Max Gain: 215%
$28 Calls – Range:  .25-2.00 – Max Gain: 700%
$29 Calls – Range: .40-1.60 – Max Gain: 300%
$30 Calls – Range: .50-1.55 – Max Gain: 210%

Fresh Ideas:
GoPro, Inc. GPRO – Weekly $9.50 & $10 Calls

Trivago N.V. TRVG – 10/20 $15 & 17.50 Calls

NXT-id, Inc. NXTD

We’re seeing a sizable gap-up taking place in the premarket this morning on NXTD. The big boost in activity is stemming from a huge news announcement published today concerning a deal the company struck with Bank of America to get its ‘FitPay’ contact-less device payment solutions installed in more than 9,000 Bank of America ATMs. (>>View PR)

With a blockbuster announcement such as this, we’re definitely going to want to observe the action as we head into week’s end and beyond.
