Good Movers, Friday’s Fresh Plays

Wrapping Up Another Strong Trading Week:

With the high volume of earnings reporters this week, we have been arming ourselves and our readers with some rather solid options ideas. All but one of the five options ideas we signaled in Thursday’s premarket report ended up returning good opportunities to turn a quick profit. The markets themselves had a bit of a mixed session, appearing strong in the early goings before petering out prior to lunch hour and sliding into the close.

That didn’t stop most of our ideas from putting forth some very nice intraday performances for us. The winning contract sets we were tracking were the SPY 10/28 $386-383 Puts, the HON Weekly $195-200 Calls, the SHEL 11/18 $55-57.50 Calls, and the NVDA Weekly $133-135 Calls, and these were the potential profits that presented themselves therein:

SPY 10/28 $386-383 Puts
$386:
 3.39-10.00 (+195%)
$385: 2.87-9.26 (+223%)

HON Weekly $195-200 Calls
$195:

$197.50: .55-2.65 (+381%)

_____

SHEL 11/18 $55-57.50 Calls

Kicking Off a Fresh Trading Week

Direxion Daily S&P Oil & Gas Exp. & Prod. Bull 2X Shares (ETF) GUSH

On Wednesday morning, we tagged GUSH for observation, and after just a few sessions , it came up off Wednesday’s low at 20.37 fairly convincingly.

On Thursday, this fund ran to a new high of 29.25, which marked a two-session upswing totaling a relatively modest yet respectable 44% increase. We will continue to monitor GUSH, which was a $500/share fund just six weeks ago.

Levi Strauss & Co. LEVI – Options Update

We signaled a range of LEVI calls last week, also on Wednesday, in the LEVI 04/17 $12-13 Calls, and saw some solid gains from those ideas in the final two days of the short week. Both contract sets experienced multi-bag gains as follows:

LEVI 04/17 $12-13 Calls
$12:.80-2.55 (+150%)
$13: .30-1.70 (+283%)

These plays expire on Friday, so we’ll leave them on the radar to see what they have in store for this fresh trading week.

GILD Weekly $74.50-76 Calls

TOMDF Run Continues

Todos Medical, Ltd. TOMDF

We have been tracking TOMDF since Tuesday morning in the premarket, when we included it in our extended watchlist. At the time, it was trading for as little as .0413 per share, and while it had a solid session that day, the gains hadn’t quite yet cracked the double-bag threshold.

Yesterday, after another really good performance, that mark was attained and then some. TOMDF has gone on to hit a new high of .17 for us, which works out to a big gain of 312%

The company’s rapid (2-10min) COVID-19 point-of-care test has been the primary reason for the stock’s huge moves. We will stay updated on the progress of the company getting the tests put into action, and will be interested to see if more upswings are on the horizon as a result.

Options Recaps

We signaled a range of options in the GILD chain in yesterday morning’s report. with the GILD Weekly $79-81 Calls. Thanks to a pretty good day for the markets, all things considered, we witnessed some very nice moves out of those targets.

$79:

$80: 2.68-7.42 (+177%)
$81: 2.49-6.05 (+143%)

APRN Blows its Lid & More

Blue Apron Holdings Inc. APRN

We provided readers with a set of stocks that we felt were uniquely built to weather the coronavirus storm in yesterday morning’s premarket report. APRN had already begun to rise a little bit prior to that, but yesterday’s huge session really sent it for a ride.

The stock registered as the number three top gainer on the NASDAQ for its performance, which saw it trade up from a low 8.70 and hit 19.49, which represents an intraday rise of 124%. As of this morning’s premarket trading, APRN has now hit 24.50, extending our total observed range in 24 hours to 182%

With people being urged to stay home as much as possible, and perhaps with a mandatory nationwide quarantine on the way, we would expect Blue Apron’s order volume to stay at what we can only imagine are all time highs. As far as how high the stock could run, that’s anyone’s guess, but we’ll be tracking it closely to find out.

Decision Diagnostics Corp. DECN

Certain stocks on the OTC have also been enjoying solid performances in relation to the coronavirus.  The company believes that its GenViro! COVID-19 “Rapid” Kit will be in high demand after the release of new FDA guidance allowing for near immediate distribution of kits with minimal red tape.

We had placed the stock in our extended watchlist in yesterday morning’s report, and were met with a very respectable intraday move from .118-.198, which works out to a gain of 68%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas & More

Gilead Sciences, Inc. GILD – Options

We’ve been hot on the trail of GILD Calls since Wednesday, when we brought forth the idea of using the $97 and $98 Calls to take advantage of GILD recovery from a beating it had taken following a mixed-result earnings call. Both sets of contracts brought us the chance to make major gains that day, with the 97’s and 98’s making moves of 226% and 253% respectively.

We reaffirmed our interest in those same calls in yesterday’s premarket report, and for the second day in a row, we were extremely pleased with the intraday opportunities afforded to us.

The $97 Calls, after trading as low as .79, would go on to set a daily high of 2.20, a 178% rip. The $98 Calls went on a run from 1.27 to as much as 3.05, a 140% increase.

Cheers go out to anyone else who was able to take advantage of our meticulous coverage of this excellent play this mid-week. It’s just the latest in a long line of great options trading ideas we’ve had so far in 2015, so even if you’ve missed everything up to this point, you’re not too late, because we have no intention of slowing down now!

Fresh Options Ideas

Twitter, Inc. TWTR

Twitter had an earnings beat post-market yesterday, and as a result the stock is gapping up significantly this morning. Our next potential area of interest is going to be with the TWTR $45 Calls. (Last Traded @ 1.00)

LinkedIn Corp. LNKD

Another social media earnings beater was LNKD, and in this case we’re going to be looking at Calls in the $260-263 range.  ($260’s last trade: 2.32 –  $262.50’s last trade: 2.00)

Rich Pharmaceuticals, Inc. RCHA

In addition to yesterday’s successful options plays was a stock we also mentioned in our morning report that went on to behave exactly as we predicted.

After making a huge run that topped 1700% the day prior, we mentioned our expectation that RCHA would pull back off of its extreme highs and offer us a subsequent bounceplay, and indeed it did.

The stock came down as low as .0091 before recovering to a daily high of .019. That was good for gains of up to 109% on the rebound.
