Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Movers & More

Yesterday’s Movers

Among the stocks we were mentioning in yesterday morning’s premarket report, there were quite a few that ended up turning in positive performances on the day.

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC – TRTC stood out among cannabis stocks with a healthy intraday increase of 21% as it ran from .108-.131. The stock closed with strength, just a tick below the HOD at .13.

We will continue to monitor, not only TRTC, but the marijuana space as a whole, like we were saying yesterday. There is a resurgence of activity in the sector that we feel will only increase as voting season is upon us. The legalization of industrial hemp in North Carolina this week is also a factor in re-generating a ‘buzz’ around cannabis in all its forms.

Global Digital Solutions, Inc. GDSI – GDSI is a stock we’ve continuously tracked for months now, as a quick tag search of our archives reveals. Yesterday, after including it in our extended watchlist, the stock made a healthy 51% intraday pop from a low of .0045 on up to .0068.

As measured from our recent observed low of .0012 (09/24), yesterday’s high registered as an incredible 466% swing in just a little over a month’s time.

Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. LBSR – Another inclusion from yesterday’s extended watchlist, LBSR put up a respectable intraday performance as well. The stock traded in a range from .0034-.0049, giving traders the chance at up to 44% profits.

Continued Recovery Watch

Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. APDN & MFC Industrial, Ltd. MIL

We wanted to take a minute to update folks on this pair of stocks that we’ve been tracking as recovery plays since Friday. While they didnt break out by any means yesterday, both managed to log higher highs and higher lows on the day, qualifying them for continued observation.

In fact, both APDN and MIL have managed to record three consecutive sessions of higher highs and higher lows since we entered them into the conversation. We’ll be interested in each case to see how far the trend will carry.

Added Note:
Speaking of bottom-bouncers, another stock with which we have been familiar in the past, is Liquid Holdings Group, Inc. LIQD. It has brought us some solid chances for gains previously, and we’ll want to closely observe as it appears to be quite oversold at the moment, and coming off of a bottom. Conditions appear to be ripening for a possible protracted rebound.

AAPL Options, FREE PHOT & Extended Watchlist

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Options

We began the week by mentioning our interest in AAPL Calls, having already experienced substantial gains to that point over the past several sessions. In anticipation of today’s iPad Event, the stock went on a tear, ending the day up more than ten dollars and 2.45% The 11/01 $505 & $510 Calls that we’ve been tracking were pushed deep into the money, yielding enormous gains. The 505’s surged another 100% from our original alert point at $12-range to 24.35, The 510’s, which started off as low as $10, and hit a high of 24.22, ending up at 22.05. A gain of over 140%

AAPL is gapping up once again, trading up roughly 1% pre-market. We expect these Calls to be pushed ever-deeper into the money.

FreeSeas, Inc. FREE

On September 10th we were talking about FREE, and the fact that it had resistance sitting on the chart at .33 and .38. At that time, we observed it trading as low as .2213. In just under a month, we would see it rocket 320% to .9287.

Following that huge run, the stock has been under consolidation, and we are currently monitoring for a bottom. Ideally, we’d like to see that come above the .33-mark. A signal that the stock is ready for a rebound would be the surpassing of the 50DMA at .39.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

Most of you know that we’ve been tracking PHOT, along with a lot of other marijuana-related stocks for an awfully long time. On August 30th, we reminded our readers to begin paying close attention to the industry following the Fed’s announcement that it would not be interfering with states’ right to legalize marijuana. At that time, it was as low as .0318. We mentioned PHOT again on September 16th, at a price of .042 as it was breaking a double-top.

Yesterday, the stock hit a new high of .072 into the close, marking a gain of 71% since mid-September.

FB Calls, GOGO, RNA, EXMT & Extended Watchlist

Facebook, Inc. FB – Options

We were looking for a dip-and-rip scenario from the FB 09/21 $45.50 Calls on Friday, and that is exactly what transpired. After dipping as low as .38, and closed at the high of day at 1.92, marking an enormous 405% intraday gain!

From when we originally mentioned these contracts on Wednesday, Friday’s close represented a move of 1820% off of the ten-cent low.

Gogo, Inc. GOGO

We started watching GOGO on Monday of last week, when the stock was trading as low as 14.79. At Friday’s peak, we observed a share price of 19.18, good for a nice 30% intraweek increase.

Remember, despite a very good short term performance from GOGO, that we are still keeping this stock on our long-term watchlist as well.

Prosensa Holding N.V.  RNA

RNA appeared in Friday’s extended watchlist, in which we clearly stated that we were watching for a bounce after a big gap-down, and that’s just what we got. The stock hit low of 5.65 before traversing its way up to 8.00. That was enough for single session gains of 42%

Anything Technologies Media, Inc. EXMT
This was an extended watchlist play of ours all last week, both on Monday, and Thursday. On Wednesday the stock was as low as .0009, and on Friday, as low as .0011 before closing at .0019. That call yielded us gains anywhere from 73-111%

This is one from our ongoing marijuana stock watchlist that we had noted coming down to its support level, and that sharp eye really paid off. It sets yet another example of why we always urge our readers to pay every bit as much attention to our extended watchlist plays as the stocks that we feature.
