PLCE Options Recap & More

The Children’s Place, Inc. PLCE – Update

As a result of the insider buying we discovered at a bottom on PLCE yesterday, we placed a pair of contracts in the options chain on watch, specifically the, PLCE 01/17 $65-70 Calls.

Despite being a bit of a longer-term idea, we still witnessed instantaneous results from these targets, which produced the following intraday moves:

$65 Calls – Range: 2.55-4.20 – Max Gain: 65%
$70 Calls – Range: .35-.85 – Max Gain: 143%

We’re interested in continuing to track these plays, with PLCE still boasting a massive gap to the topside on the chart up to roughly the $70 level. Should the stock continue to fill that gap, we’re going to see the total gains on these ideas hit even more impressive levels.

Fresh Options Ideas:

Sun Kissed Industries, Inc. SKDI

We also highlighted SKDI as one to watch in yesterday morning’s premarket Extended Watchlist. The stock put up quite an intraday performance as it traded up from a low of .03, to a high of .16 on the day.

That works out to a single-session gain of 433% and serves as a perfect example of why we always try to include a daily Extended Watchlist, and why we will never quit speculating on the OTC entirely.

PetMed Express, Inc. PETS – Update

Our fresh options idea of the day yesterday morning involved the PETS chain in the wake of the company’s huge Q2 earnings beat, which precipitated the stock’s largest single session gain in 17 years.

We zeroed in on the PETS 11/15 $20-25 Calls, and the potential intraday profits on the table were nothing to sneeze at, with all three sets making multi-bag rips.

$20 Calls – Range: 2.60-6.80 – Max Gain: 162%
$22.50 Calls – Range: 1.00-4.40 – Max Gain: 340%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Big Shipping Options

Big Shipping Options Review

Yesterday morning, we were feeling confident in a bearish session leading into the Fed meeting. Despite a last-hour rebound following the rate lowering, most of the day provided us with plenty of backsliding action that led to some very respectable single-session gains for our picks.

We had bearish ideas set up for both of the main players in the parcel shipping game, In each instance, we observed solid moves for every single one of our targeted contracts:

FDX Weekly $157.50-155 Puts
$165 Calls – Range:
4.30-9.20 – Max Gain: 114%
$167.50 Puts – Range: 3.00-7.00 – Max Gain: 133%

UPS Weekly $120-119 Puts
$120 Puts – Range:
 .67-1.37 – Max Gain: 104%
$119 Puts – Range: .44-.89 – Max Gain: 102%

Eros International Plc. EROS

We mentioned EROS most recently on August 21st, and shortly following that alert, the stock was trading for as little as 1.20. This morning we have observed a new high of 3.42 in the premarket in the wake of an announced partnership with Microsoft.

That’s a total increase of 185% in roughly seven weeks’ time. We’ll be interested to continue monitoring the activity from this point on.

DOUGLAS, Isle of Man–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Eros Now, a South Asian entertainment OTT (over-the-top) video platform by Eros International Plc, a Global Indian Entertainment Company, the ultimate one-stop destination for the internet generation to consume captivating content, today announced a collaboration with Microsoft to build a next generation online video platform on Microsoft Azure targeted at its consumers across the globe. Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bearish Options Ideas

AutoDesk Inc. ADSK

With things looking choppy for the markets this morning, we are going to turn to a bearish idea for ADSK despite the company’s beat on Q2 earnings yesterday after market hours. The stock began to crumble under the weight of ADSK’s weak Q3 guidance. The poor outlook given, combined with the flow of market tides, could be just the thing for bearish options contracts, namely the ADSK Weekly $135-132 Puts.

There are those of the belief that ADSK stock was already valued too high leading into yesterday’s report, which is why we feel confident choosing to go short at the present time.
