Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Friday’s Big Winners & More

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF – Options Recap

We initially placed a pair of options ideas for ANF on watch in our premarket report Thursday, highlighting the ANF Weekly $10 & $11 Calls.

We saw multi-bag moves in those contracts that day, and Friday morning, we noted yet another premarket gap-up from the stock, mentioning that we would continue to track for more gains.

. The $10 Calls traded up to a new high of 2.41, and from our observed low of .60 on Thursday, extended  the total move we saw to 302%  The $11 Calls ran to a new high of 1.38, which from our witnessed low of .11 represented a monster two-day swing from Thursday’s low of 1154%

DSW, Inc. DSW – Options Recap

We went very options-heavy in our reports throughout last week, and another idea that bore fruit on Friday was one we formulated on Tuesday morning, with the DSW 09/15 $17.50 & $20 Calls.

In this case, the $17.50‘s were as low as 1.15 after our signal, and closed at 2.72 on Friday, marking a four-session swing of 137% The $20’s ran from .30 to as much as .80, for a 167% move.

There’s still plenty of time before expiration on these contracts, so we won’t rule out seeing further positive activity in the days and weeks ahead.

Amazon, Inc. AMZN

To keep this options train chugging down the tracks, we’re going to highlight a range of contracts in the AMZN chain.

AMZN stock itself has been under consolidation and is presently sitting around an area of previous support. A lot of eyes are on the company as well as its first day as the official owner of Whole Foods brought sweeping price cuts at the high-dollar supermarkets.

We’re going to look to the AMZN 10/06 $965-980 Calls for an extended term idea, which could yield significant gains once a reversal occurs on the chart.

Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. TNDM

We also want to place TNDM on watch for the reasons outlined in the annotated chart below. The stock cracked its 50DMA last week after recently having fallen to new lows, so we want to put in on the radar for a potential recovery play.

Extended Watchlist:
ASPS, KITE, JUNO, DCTH, EYES, FRSX, ALQA

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BABA Review & More

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA – Options Review

We saw the contracts we highlighted yesterday morning in the BABA chain make solid multi-bag moves. The BABA Weekly $162.50-170 Calls were our targets, and each one took off for the following moves starting at around 10AM.

$244.50 Calls – Range: 2.58-5.65 – Max Gain: 119%
$245 Calls – Range: 1.26-3.50 – Max Gain: 171%
$245.50 Calls – Range: .52-1.79 – Max Gain: 244%
$246 Calls – Range: .18-.74 – Max Gain: 311%

We also want to continue to keep our eye on these plays to close out the week*, as further increases are a possibility. While BABA’s PPS tapered back into the close, we’re seeing yet another gap up in the premarket this morning.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc  WMT

Despite seeing a pullback following its earnings report yesterday, WMT rebounded off of support and managed to close near its high of day and is up slightly in early trading this morning.

There may be an opportunity in the WMT Weekly $79.50 & $80 Calls* so we’ll have those on our radars as we wrap up another trading week.

*We don’t include mentions of weekly options contracts on a Friday without explicitly warning our readers every single time. Trading weekly options at the end of the week is an exceedingly risky proposition that should never be attempted by beginning or novice traders!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Big Day for TEUM & More

Pareteum, Inc. TEUM

After tagging TEUM in yesterday morning’s extended watchlist, the stock went on to become the top story of the day for us. From the opening bell until shortly prior to lunch hour, the stock make a pretty impressive move from a low of .78 to a high of 1.73. That went down as an intraday push of 122% and it occurred on an incredible 200X the monthly average volume.

TEUM held more than half of its daily advance into the close, and with that kind of price action and liquidity, we’re defeintely going to want to continue to keep a watch over this play. The activity was catalyzed, at least in part, to the company’s declaration that it expects to beat Wall Street’s estimates in its upcoming release of quarterly financials.

Opexa Therapeutics, Inc. OPXA

It was a week ago today, just as we were returning from the 4th of July break, that we were commenting on the activity of OPXA, which we had tracked over some pretty nice gains at the beginning of the holiday week.

After a couple of sessions consolidating off of those highs, OPXA geared up for another round this week, rebounding off of support at .633, and re-launching itself to a new high of 1.09 yesterday.  That’s a 72% swing on the rebound, which gives OPXA just the kind of volatility we’re always on the lookout for. It will remain on our radars for the time being.

CableClix (USA), Inc. CCLX

We’re going to put CCLX on watch as a news play this morning, after the company announced the launch of its online TV service aimed at ‘cord-cutters’. It’s a trendy space with a good story, and the stock itself qualifies as a potential bottom play. We’ll certainly want to keep a watch over CCLX moving forward.

CableClix (USA), Inc. (OTCPK:CCLX) is pioneering online TV evolution by designing the first ‘lean-back experience’ for online viewing. Lean-back – continuous delivery of TV broadcast, common for cable TV but not yet for online viewing – gives audiences more viewing time, delivered as uninterrupted play of highly personalized content.

Lean-back play solves the problem of audiences losing hours of viewing time just browsing through menus deciding what to watch next. CableClix’s research – with audiences as well as executives from major online platforms, studios and multi-channel networks – revealed a consistent issue across the video content landscape: usability.
