Lululemon Athletica LULU – Fresh Ideas

Lululemon had an earnings beat of its own yesterday post-market, so we want to formulate some ideas for the LULU chain as well.

Not only is the stock gapping up on earnings, but like DG yesterday, the LULU chart was already looking like a bottom-play with premium potential. That’s why we want to formulate both a short and long term set of ideas for LULU options. The LULU Weekly $55-57.50 Calls*, to coincide with the immediate boost in activity off of these earnings, and the LULU 06/30 58.50-60.50 Calls in the event of a protracted recovery.

*We never highlight options with a weekly expiration on a Friday without an explicit warning. That should tell you how risky it can be. So if you’re not an expert trader, don’t even think about it!

Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. SGYP

We also want to put SGYP on watch today after noticing that the stock is coming off of its 52-week lows. That’s always a chart setup that we’re going to look at, but in this case the lows followed shartly after the company producing positive Phase III data on its TRULANCE™ drug, which is already approved by the FDA.

We’ve included a chart snapshot here, and you can plainly see, the stock had been beaten back severely and is only just now beginning to mount a rebound.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: JNUG, RAMO & More

Direxion Daily Jr Gld Mnrs Bull 3X ETF (JNUG)

We’ve been tracking JNUG in the wake of last week’s annual low on the price of gold, and as the price of the precious metal has rebounded it has provided us with a few swing-trade opportunities.

Initially we saw JNUG run from 3.59-4.44 (+24%), and after pulling back slightly to 3.65 yesterday morning, the ETF ran back to 4.40, an intraday increase of 20% on several times the average trading volume.

We expect to witness similar patterns of activity in JNUG as long as the price of gold continues to rebound. We’re looking for it to hold support at or above $1161 (Trading in $1166-range this morning)

Ramoil Management Ltd. RAMO

We want to tag RAMO this morning and add it to our list of cannabis-related stocks; according to a PR we just caught coming over the wires, the company is set to begin clinical testing with both CBD and THC (chemical compounds found in marijuana).

It is conveniently timed with the “major hurdle” that was just cleared with regard to government approval of using cannabis for the treatment of soldiers diagnosed with PTSD. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has given its stamp of approval, with the measure only needing DEA clearance before becoming policy. >> Read Article in US Today

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — RAMOIL MANAGEMENT, Ltd (RAMO) wants to honor and support our veterans by announcing that RAMO Bio-Med, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, is beginning with controlled clinical testing of “RAMO CBD” and “RAMO THC” formulas for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, commonly known as PTSD. >> Full PR

Dendreon Corp. DNDN

We’ve been watching DNDN for a bounce opportunity this week, as the stock has been way oversold of late. This morning it appears as if the stock is trying to gap up slightly, so we just want to throw in a reminder that this stock could turn into a hefty bounceplay at any time.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CDVI Recap, TINO Promotion & More

Cal Dive International, Inc. CDVI

On Tuesday, we introduced CDVI via our extended watchlist. We had been monitoring the stock after noticing it had taken a tremendous beating prior to that point. Some of our biggest gainers have come from recovery plays, and what we’ve seen from CDVI has been pleasing thus far.

Our timing in picking up on this play turned out to be on the nose, as it came from a new 52-week low of .08 on Tuesday, all the way back to .15 just prior to yesterday’s close. That represents an 87% rebound over the span of two sessions, so we’ll mark CDVI down as an excellent call on our part.

As far as how to approach it moving forward, we might want to take a listen to the Earnings Conference Call slated for 10AM EST today. The company released its Q3 financials after hours yesterday, and it will be interesting to hear the officials’ take on the results, which, at first glance, did include both positives and negatives, as well as future guidance . >>View PR

Either way, we’ve already had a major opportunity from this stock, so congrats to anyone who was able to turn a quick profit off of CDVI on its tremendous bottom-bounce.

Tamino Minerals, Inc. TINO

TINO is another one we want to mention briefly this morning, and enter it into our readers line of sight. The stock has been seeing a pickup in both volume and PPS over the past several sessions, with the effect intensifying toward the end of yesterday’s session.

It comes in advance of a large promotion occurring on the stock today. Let us be clear that we are not involved in today’s promotion on TINO, we simply wanted to pass that information along because it may be possible for us to take advantage of any surges it may produce. Should the stock begin to run, our mentality should be to snipe out quick gains before accumulation slopes off and the increase of selling pressure occurs. In these scenarios, it’s safer to shoot for rapid singles and doubles rather than holding on for a home run.

Extended Watchlist – Morning Gappers:

Gap-ups: CGG, PLNR, SFUN, PERI, RVLT, RDNT(Look for profit-taking to cause fade and subsequent bounce opportunities)

Gap-downs: AEZS, SZYM (Look for a potential bounce from over-selling)
