Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup

Dicks Sporting Goods, Inc. DKS – Recap

We cast a wide net with respect to the DKS options we included in yesterday’s premarket report, marking the Weekly $35-40 Calls for observation on the heels of the company’s earnings release.

While there were gains on the table for all ten of the contracts in our specified range, we won’t list all of them out, but rather just provide the bottom and the top of the range, and let our readers fill in the blanks.

The $35 Calls ran from 1.50-3.99 for an intraday move of 166%  The $40’s traded up from .10-.45, representing an upswing of 350%  Agiain, increasing, commensurate gains were available throughout our designated range of contract sets.

HP, Inc. HPQ – Recap

We also formulated an idea for the HPQ options chain in yesterday’s report, the HPQ Weekly $21-22 Calls, and were presented with some big single session moves there as well, including a five and a six-bagger!

This was another post-earnings idea, which is generally when we like to strike, at a time when price action and volatility are increased to significant levels. It provided for the following chances for profit:

$21 Calls – Range: .40-1.21 – Max Gain: 214%
$21.50 Calls – Range: .11-.76 – Max Gain: 590%
$22 Calls – Range: .05-.35 – Max Gain: 600%

Fresh Options Ideas – We’ll finish up this morning’s options-heavy report by including a couple of new sets of ideas:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: RXMD Update & More

Progressive Care, Inc. RXMD

We’re coming back to RXMD once again to review this unstoppable momentum play that has appeared in five of our last six reports. After our initial mention of this play on February 22nd, we witnessed a low of .0663 and it hasn’t looked back since.

Continuing its impressive trajectory into blue skies, with every uptick the stock attains a new five year high. Yesterday it reached .265, which represents an observed increase of 301% in a matter of roughly three weeks! As measured from Monday of last week at its low of .1171, it managed a one week swing of 126%

DPW Holdings. Inc. DPW

We want to tag DPW this morning as a potential bottom bouncer, after noticing an interesting chart setup.

As we’ve pointed out on the following snapshot, the stock has come down to what we feel is a pretty solid area of support, and looks like it may try to make a run at its 50DMA. It also saw a pretty good surge in volume yesterday, so we’ll place it on watch today.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Ford Options Recap & More

Ford Motor Co. F

Back on February 12th, we flagged Ford as a bottom watch play after the company got off to a bad start in 2018. It had just begun to show signs of life, so we formulated an options idea to help us take advantage of the scenario.

Our targets were the F 03/02 10.37-11.37 Calls and we’ve seen some solid opportunities from three of the four contracts in that range in the two weeks since our alert.

$10.37 Calls – Range: .31-.55 – Max Gain: 77%
$10.87 Calls – Range: .04-.12 – Max Gain: 200%
$11 Calls – Range:.02-.07 – Max Gain: 250%

Target Corp. TGT

Yesterday morning we saw an opportunity to select a range of calls in the Target options chain, and decided to focus on the TGT Weekly $75-76.50 Calls for a fresh options idea. It was an immediate success, with TGT trading up enough to produce some really nice single-session swings.

$75 Calls – Range: 1.42-2.42 – Max Gain: 70%
$75.50 Calls – Range: 1.03-1.92 – Max Gain: 86%
$76 Calls – Range: .85-1.64 – Max Gain: 93%
$76.50 Calls – Range: .80-1.31 – Max Gain: 64%

Dean Foods Co. DF

We also want to put DF on our watchscreens as a bottom-watch play. The stock got absolutely crushed as a result of missed earnings and revenue estimates in its Q4 report, along with a  downgrade by Credit Suisse.

These events have driven DF into heavily oversold territory, registering a new 52-week low. The stock also has a history of relatively volatile swings, so we’re going to watch closely for the beginnings of a bottom bounce in sessions ahead. It may have further to fall, but we’ll be looking for that rebound.
