Massive Options Gainers Across the Board:

Thanks to the response to yesterday afternoon’s Fed meeting and rate hike, we came down on the right side of the fence with regard to our daily options ideas. We’re ready to commence another exciting trading week this morning, and if it’s anything like last week’s we’re in for a real treat. We closed things out with a bang on Friday, offering up four separate sets of options trading ideas and ringing the bell on the whole lot of them! It was a choppy day for the markets as a whole, but things ended on a high note with the last hour of trading being particularly strong.

Reviewing Runners, Fresh Ideas

Options Updates:

We’re circling back around this morning to highlight moves in some of our recent ‘longer-term’ options ideas, which for us, is anything beyond contracts with a weekly expiration. Several factors determine whether we make quick-strike or swing trade ideas, the primary of which being the setup of the chart.

Both of these longer term plays have set new highs for us this week. We began tracking the CRCT 03/18$10 Puts last Wednesday morning, and the BKE 03/18 $36.85-39.35 Calls on Friday morning.

CRCT 03/18 $10 Puts
$10: .05-.30 (+500%)
_____

BKE 03/18 $36.85-39.35 Calls
$36.85:
 .79-1.35 (+71%)
$39.35: .15-.30 (+100%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
GTLB Weekly $30-40 Calls
COUP Weekly $70-66 Puts
SPY 03/16 $418-420 Calls

OTC Runner:

We’ve also got HYMC to review this morning, as the stock is pressing to incredible new highs in the premarket. We initially tagged it for observation in our report a week ago today, and the strides it has made have been very nice indeed.

Gauging the SPY, Fresh Plays

Another Excellent Day for Options:

We kept the options train rolling along the tracks yesterday morning, when we were just patting ourselves on the back for going 3-for-3 on Tuesday’s options ideas. We then of course formulated a fresh selection of potential targets to observe, and for the second consecutive session, we saw some really nice moves in all of them.

Our areas of interest for the day were the MDB Weekly $305-315 Calls, the THO 03/18 $90-95 Calls, and the CRCT 03/22 $10 Puts, and they didn’t let us down. There were fine opportunities across the board, and they were as follows:

MDB Weekly $305-315 Calls
$305:
 18.10-36.00 (+99%)
$310: 13.50-28.87 (+114%)
$315: 11.35-25.70 (+126%)
_____

THO 03/18 $90-95 Calls
$90: 2.00-4.50 (+125%)
$95: .90-2.24 (+149%)
_____

CRCT 03/22 $10 Puts
$10: .50-.75 (+50%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

As we all know by now, here’s been a lot of volatility added to the markets via the uncertainty generated by the ongoing Russian attacks on the Ukraine, and today we’re going to straddle the fence a bit after some rather flat CPI figures came in this morning. We’re going to signal a set of SPY strikes, and leave it for our readers to gauge which way the wind is blowing, and whether to go bearish or bullish at any given moment today. We’ve also got a couple of earnings plays to add the mix as well.

SPY 03/11 $422-424 Calls
SPY 03/11 $424-422 Puts
JD Weekly $60-58 Puts
ASAN 03/18 $40-35 Puts
