Options Updates: 

We’re circling back around this morning to highlight moves in some of our recent ‘longer-term’ options ideas, which for us, is anything beyond contracts with a weekly expiration. Several factors determine whether we make quick-strike or swing trade ideas, the primary of which being the setup of the chart.

Both of these longer term plays have set new highs for us this week. We began tracking the CRCT 03/18$10 Puts last Wednesday morning, and the BKE 03/18 $36.85-39.35 Calls on Friday morning.

We’ve also got HYMC to review this morning, as the stock is pressing to incredible new highs in the premarket. We initially tagged it for observation in our report a week ago today, and the strides it has made have been very nice indeed.

SPY Yields Thousand Percent Gainers & More

SPY Calls Roll:

Up until yesterday morning, it had actually been quite some time since we had last formulated a daily trading idea for the SPY, which historically has been one of our most common targets. Despite an up-and-down session for the markets, we did observe some very nice gain opportunities in our targeted contracts.

We were looking at the SPY 09/13 $446-448 Calls due to a relative dry spell of earnings reporters that will persist for the next several weeks. It turned out to be a solid choice, with our designated range yielding three out of three multi-baggers, including two sets that ran well over a thousand percent!

Here are the total moves and possible profits provided by our selections on the day:

We’ll stick with the same SPY targets but for tomorrow’s expiration, following better than expected Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures dropped this morning.

Friday’s Winning Selections: 

We’re kicking things off this week the same way we always hope to do, which is presenting the excellent gain opportunities that our Friday options ideas afforded ourselves and our readers. As usual, most of our targets yielded excellent intraday gains opportunities.

The winning plays were the AFRM 09/17 $110-120 Calls, the PLAY Weekly $37-39 Calls, and the TIGR 09/17 $12.50-15 Calls, which all fared quite well on the day. We were commenting on the fact that we’re heading into another period of a relatively thin earnings calendar, but we managed to unearthed some multibag runners nonetheless.
