Big Options Runners, More Fresh Plays

Massive Options Gainers:

It was a mixed bag kind of a session for us yesterday, having gone half-and-half on options ideas, bullish and bearish. As a result of the huge day the markets had yesterday, it was the bullish targets that produced notable moves for us on the day.

Those calls that ended up posting huge numbers were the DPZ Weekly $315-325 Calls, and the DAL Weekly $29-29.50 Calls. As you can see below, Domino’s put forth a really good show, as every set in our observed range rattled off absolutely massive multibag runs. The gains we saw in the Delta plays were fairly on-par with those as well, registering big multibag moves themselves. Here’s the breakdown of those enormous gainers:

DPZ Weekly $315-325 Calls
$315:
 5.06-21.23 (+320%)
$320: 2.55-15.06 (+491%)

_____

DAL Weekly $29-29.50 Calls

Winning Options Plays, 4 Fresh Ideas

Options Reviews:

Despite only having a single earnings reporter yesterday morning off of which we could base an options idea, we managed to turn up some pretty good opportunities including a couple multi-bag gain chances.

That lone fresh play was for the PEP Weekly $162.50-167.50 Calls, and they did post some nice intraday moves. In addition, we have a couple of updates on some longer term calls that we signaled in reports from last week. For the CAT 11/04 $180-185 Calls, we alerted these calls on last Wednesday the 5th, while the UNFI 11/18 $35 Calls were an idea we formulated on September 30th. Both have performed rather nicely, and give a good example of why we like to include a mix of quick-strike plays with longer-term ideas.

PEP Weekly $162.50-167.50 Calls
$162.50: 4.55-8.10 (+78%)

Fresh Ideas for an Exciting Friday Finish

Dominos Pizza Inc. DPZ – Options Recap

We have been very light on options plays over the past week or two, as we are still in a lull for earnings reporters, which are the typical catalysts that we use to take advantage of the inherent volatility that generally follows a quarterly number drop.

. We still have managed to find an opportunity here and there, and yesterday our instincts told us to go short on Dominos. We signaled the DPZ Weekly $427.50-417.50 Puts and saw some good moves
