Monday’s Runners, 5 New Ideas

Nice Start to a Fresh Week:

We picked right up where we left off last week, with big time options trading opportunities left, right and center. For our group of fresh possibilities that we presented in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we were running slightly on the light side, with just a trio of potential plays for the session.

We had zeroed in on the SAIC 06/16 $105-110 Calls, the L 06/16 $60 Calls, and the TSLA Weekly $215-220 Calls as our primary interests for the day, and were not disappointed when all three recorded intraday upswings. Here were the intraday moves and total possible profits involved with those plays yesterday:

SAIC 06/16 $105-110 Calls
$105:
 1.25-2.75 (+120%)
$110: .25-.84 (+236%)
_____

L 06/16 $60 Calls
$60:
 .40-.70 (+75%)
_____

TSLA Weekly $215-220 Calls
$215:
 5.05-6.80 (+35%)
$217.50: 3.90-5.40 (+38%)
$220: 3.10-4.30 (+39%)

OTC and Options Recaps, Fresh Plays

Options Review:

We’ve been trudging along through another dry spell for earnings plays as best we can, opening up the fresh trading week yesterday morning with a couple of decent ideas. We’re always going to try to look to the SPY when all else fails, and those were the primary winners for the session.

We had signaled interest in the SPY 09/26 $365-367 Calls, as well as the CHK 10/21 $95-90 Puts, which yielded the following intraday gain opportunities for ourselves and our readers:

SPY 09/26 $365-367 Calls

$365: .60-1.94 (+223%)
$366: .35-1.17 (+234%)
$367: .20-.71 (+255%)
_____

CHK 10/21 $95-90 Puts
$95: 5.40-7.41 (+37%)
$90: 3.70-4.30 (+16%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
CBRL 10/21 $95-100 Calls
COST Weekly $485-490 Calls
SAVA Weekly $45-46 Calls

OTC Recaps:

Global Tech Industries Group, Inc. GTII – We had just given our most recent update on GTII on Friday morning, and the stock once again recorded a nice move for us, this time running from a low of  .85 and topping out at a new high of 1.77 yesterday. That registers as an upswing of 108%
_____

ProText Mobility Inc. TXTM – Here is another OTC stock that we’ve been tracking recently to start the week off yesterday by recording some new highs. Following our most recent alert on this play on the 21st, TXTM has made a move from .0083-.0112, which works out to a rise of 35%

Retail Earnings Opportunities

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. CBRL – Recap:

This morning we’re updating readers on the fresh options idea from yesterday. Just to give a heads up, this idea appeared in our report yesterday as Weekly calls, which was in error. The next expiration date on any existing CBRL options is June 18th, so we’re talking about the CBRL 06/18 $155-165 Calls.

Those fared quite well on the day despite three weeks remaining until their expiry. Here are the intraday gains they recorded:

CBRL 06/18 $155-165 Calls
$155: 4.40-6.68 (+52%)
$160: 2.45-4.40 (+80%)
$165: 1.25-2.40 (+92%)

Based on premarket activity this morning, it appears as if CBRL may be preparing to gap up, and as a result we may see further advances in these contract sets. We’re going to want to continue to monitor their activity into June 18th.

Fresh Options Ideas:

Despite a general decrease in the number of daily earnings reporters, we’ve got a fair few retail giants dropping figures this morning, and we’ll venture a target for the SPY as well.

URBN Weekly $37-39 Calls
ANF Weekly $39-40.50 Calls
DKS Weekly $88-91 Calls

SPY 05/26 $418-420 Calls
