Super Tuesday Sweep, 4-Pack of Fresh Ideas

Tuesday’s Movers:

We kept things moving fast on the options front yesterday morning, as we laid out possible plays for five separate targets for the session. It should come as very little shock, especially given our spot-on recent performance, that each and every one of the potential plays we highlighted produced significant intraday opportunities.

Tuesday’s Clean Sweep, 4 New Targets

Tuesday’s Options Runners:

We went bearish on all three of the earnings-based options ideas we presented in yesterday morning’s premarket report. A challenging day for the markets at large only boosted their performances, which led to some really nice intraday gain opportunities for traders. We’re seeing a pickup in the volume of earnings reporters as compared to last week, which is always good in terms of having fresh material for quick-strike options ideas.

Our targets yesterday were the SE Weekly $84-82 Puts, the HD Weekly $285-280 Puts, and the BIDU Weekly $127-125 Puts. Here is the breakdown of the figures they put up for us on the session:

SE Weekly $84-82 Puts
$84: 5.05-13.10 (+159%)
$83: 4.80-11.94 (+149%)

BIDU Weekly $127-125 Puts

7-Day Win Streak, Fresh Plays

Another Perfect Run:

We offered up a mixed bag in terms of bears and bulls on our list of fresh options ideas from yesterday morning’s premarket report, and the session for the markets as a whole experienced a similar kind of day. That helped out with generating the kind of volatile activity that can be a boon to day traders. Once again, we swept the board with all of our daily options targets, which goes down in the books as our 7TH consecutive trading day without a single flat prospect.

Yesterday’s ideas were the CVS Weekly $73-71 Puts, the EL 05/19 $220-210 Puts and the KHC Weekly $40-41 Calls. The KHC Calls were definitely the big standouts for the day, but there were some really nice moves in the other plays as well. Here’s how it all shook out for the session:

CVS Weekly $73-71 Puts
$73:
 1.85-3.55 (+92%)

KHC Weekly $40-41 Calls
