Monday Recap, 3 Possibilities

Monday’s Movers & More:

The new trading week got off to a good start for us yesterday, having had some good movers among our new options ideas for the day. Both of the near-term ideas we floated turned out really well, while the third longer-term play didn’t hash out instantly. However, as an example of why we sometimes signal contracts that don’t expire for weeks or even months, in addition to yesterday’s movers, we’re also going to highlight a previous swing trade idea that has been panning out well.

Yesterday’s runners were the TSLA Weekly $167.50-170 Calls, and the SPY 04/08 $519-520 Calls, and their daily performances are outlined below. As for the SGML 04/19 $13-14 Calls, we originally targeted  those in our report from last Monday the 1st, and the following numbers represent the total increase those contracts have seen since then.

A Winning Wednesday, 5 Fresh Picks

Wednesday’s Winners:

In yesterday morning’s premarket report, we placed a trio of potential options trading ideas on watch, and were pleased with the intraday performances on all three of them. Generally, we don’t often miss on our quick-strike (weekly expiration) ideas. We like to occasionally mix in longer-term swing trade ideas that may take awhile to come to fruition, but our strongest suit is definitely ID’ing plays for ‘today’ on any given day.

Yesterday’s plays were the PDD Weekly $149-152.50 Calls, the GIS Weekly $71-72 Calls, and the INTC Weekly $42.50-43.50 Calls, and all three sets of calls fared rather well. Here were the performances they laid down:

PDD Weekly $149-152.50 Calls
$149
: .32-.72 (+125%)
$150: .19-.35 (+84%)
$152.50: .25-.46 (+84%)
_____

GIS Weekly $71-72 Calls
$71
: .70-1.50 (+114%)
$72: .37-.90 (+143%)
_____

INTC Weekly $42.50-43.50 Calls
$42.50: .49-.81 (+65%)
$43: .37-.61 (+65%)
$43.50: .26-.45 (+73%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 03/21 $522-523 Calls*
MU Weekly $111-113 Calls
ACN Weekly $357.50-350 Puts
DRI 04/19 $170-165 Puts
