Closing Out a Fruitful Trading Week

Options Recap: 

We offered up a good mix of options ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report, most of which worked out for us. We’ll leave out the September calls we signaled in CRMT because that idea is going to take a little time to mature, but the other three plays we highlighted turned in solid performances on the day.

We were looking at the CAG 04/08 $35-33 Puts, the STZ 04/08 $237.50-232.50 Puts, and the LW 04/15 $60 Calls. and got some pretty good intraday movement there.

Sunshine Biopharma, Inc. SBFM – Review:

We tagged SBFM for observation in our extended watchlist on Tuesday morning, at which time we observed the stock trading for as little as 4.86/share. After an after-hours surge, the stock0 has now traded for as much as 12.45. That works out to a three-day swing amounting to 156% for this NASDAQ play.

This morning we’re going to start off by going over the options plays that worked out for us yesterday. We were tracking ideas in the TLRY and SPY chains that produced moderate, and excellent gains, respectively.

We were going after the TLRY Weekly $7-7.50 Calls, and the SPY 04/06 $448-446 Puts. and those plays did manage to record solid performances on the day as the markets were depressed on the session. While the Tllray calls only managed small moves, the SPY Puts exploded for huge multibsag runs.

Icon Media Holdings Inc. ICNM – OTC Recap:

To quickly update on the performance of an OTC stock we’ve been tracking in recent weeks, ICNM moved the needle yesterday as it ran from .0013 to .,0023 on the day.

That works out to an upswing of 77% and warrants further observation of the stock as it presses into blue skies.

We tracked down some solid plays for yesterday morning’s premarket report, offering up our take on some potential targets we found interesting in the BBBY and STZ chains. Both companies showed heightened activity following their earnings releases, and were also pushed along by some decent intraday market momentum.

Our specific targets issued were the  BBBY Weekly $29.50-31 Calls and the STZ Weekly $230-232.50 Calls, and they provided for the following single-session gain opportunities:

In Monday morning’s report we gave a couple sets of ideas in the CCIV options chain, and what we came up with was the CCIV Weekly $26 Calls and the CCIV 07/23 $27.50-28 Calls. Both the short and extended term contracts popped this week, giving us the chance to log sizable gains on these strong moves:

Western Sierra Resource Corp. WSRC – Recap:

We also would like to post a quick update on a stock we tagged and began tracking at the end of last week in our report on June 25th.

Subsequent to that alert, we have observed a run in WSRC from a low of  .2045 up to a new high of .492. That works out to an increase of 141%, while volume significantly exceeded the 30-day moving average in each session over that span.
