We got things off to a pretty good start on Monday, despite having just a couple of ideas laid out in our premarket report. They fared well, and got a through a session with essentially no earnings reporters of which to speak.

We were looking at the SPY 07/13 $753-752 Puts, and the NVDA Weekly $207.50 Calls. Here were the biggest runs they recorded during trading on Monday:

Our favorite way to finish off a trading week is reporting sweeping success from our previous day’s premarket report, and we have the pleasure of closing out this short holiday week in just such fashion. We presented four possibilities for yesterday’s session, and met with good results across the board, despite three of the plays being longer term contracts with January expirations.

We wrapped up a flawless trading week on Friday morning, bringing our grand total of unsuccessful daily picks to just two ideas in the whole of the last SIX WEEKS. The week got off to a pretty good start on Monday, despite a brief lull in the flow of big time earnings reporters. We had signaled interest in some SPY Calls as well as a couple of longer-term looks that we feel could have potential in the days and weeks ahead, in our premarket report. The SPY performed quite well, and one of the two February ideas produced immediate positive intraday results.
