We got things right back on track with regard to the options ideas that we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report. We put forth a group of three earnings plays and the activity we subsequently observed was nothing to sneeze at, with all three returning opportunities for multibag intraday gains. That included a really nice 950 percenter!

Our specific areas of interest for the session were the CHWY Weekly $37.50-36.50 Puts, the ACN Weekly $262.50-265 Calls, and the GIS 04/21 $82.50 Calls, which provided the following moves and intraday profit chances, as well as more incredible new highs in the ONON 04/21 $25-27.50 Calls we’ve been tracking since Tuesday:

We had signaled a pair of ideas in the ONON and CSIQ chains that performed really well, and continued to track some longer-term calls in MDT which posted some new highs for us.

Those targets were the ONON 04/21 $25-27.50 Calls, the CSIQ Weekly $38-39 Calls, and the MDT 04/21 $80-82.50 Calls, and here is the rundown of the excellent activity we observed over the past two sessions, including a thousand percent gainer!

We also want to revisit PSWW, which was the focus of our special report yesterday morning. (>>Read Yesterday’s Report) Today, the company has put out a new shareholder letter from Chairman and CEO Bryce Toussaint outlining its interests in the Class 6 and Class 8 heavy electric vehicle market, as well as the traditional energy sector.

This is included a renewed commitment by the company to push forward with its primary objectives, as well as moving on from investments and connections that don’t fit its updated vision for the future. We righted the ship yesterday with a couple of good options ideas in our premarket report, despite the fact that we had no earnings reporters with which to work. We managed to root out a couple of good plays, regardless. Today appears to have some real potential, with several big name earnings drops, along with a market that looks like it may possibly be ready to reverse and go bullish.

Yesterday’s areas of interest for us were the GIS 01/20 $85-80 Puts, and the HEI 01/20 $150 Calls, and here were the caliber of moves and total possible profits they produced for us on the day:

We’ve had quite a few nice OTC plays crop up in recent sessions, and yesterday’s standout was ICCM. We tagged this play for observation in our extended watchlist yesterday morning, and it followed up with a good perfromance, running from 2.94 up to 4.73 for an intraday rise of 61%

Muted Start to the Week, Fresh Ideas

Monday’s Options Recap:

The markets got off to a rough start yesterday, and that did negatively impact the scope of our options success with the plays we were monitoring, especially considering they were targets January expirations. We may yet see those rise to the occasion, but for now, our one quick-strike idea from yesterday’s premarket report did make a significant intraday move.

The SPY typically provides a lot of good intraday volatility for us, and is quite often good for solid intraday gains when timed properly. Our actual targets for yesterday were the SPY 12/19 $383-384 Calls, and these were the largest intraday swings we witnessed:

Another Pair of Options Bangers, Fresh Plays

Big Time Options Runners:

Yesterday was a very interesting day on the markets, as the Fed Meeting predictably threw an element of extreme volatility into the mix that typically helps swing traders such as ourselves and most of our readers. The activity sent the SPY 09/21 $386-385 Puts, which we signaled for observation on Tuesday morning, into an absolute frenzy of multibag movement.

We also had signaled a longer-term set of calls in the GIS 10/21 $77.50-80 Calls, yesterday morning, and General Mills bucked the trend so heavily that we didn’t even have to wait days or weeks for the idea to mature, as is often the case with our signals that have expiration dates weeks or months into the future. Those too made excellent moves during what turned out to be a very exciting trading day.
