Tuesday’s Runners, Wednesday’s Watchlist

Tuesday’s Twin Targets:

As we were mentioning in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we’re pretty thin on earnings reports from big name companies with multi-billion dollar market caps, which are typically our favorite catalysts for the kind of intraday activity that is useful to daytraders. This relative dry period will unfortunately persist until the back end of October, but, as we did yesterday, we’ll continue to hash out whatever remaining targets look best on any given morning.

Yesterday we formed a pair of potential plays, the APOG 10/20 $50-55 Calls and the DAVA 10/20 $45 Puts, and they both exhibited some nice moves for us on the day, with a double-bagger coming out of both chains. Here’s what we were working with:

Another Great Week Ends, 4 New Earnings Ideas

Exciting Trading Week Comes to a Close:

Once again we’re heading into the end of another excellent trading week in our favorite way, by reporting a successful sweep of the selections from our premarket report on Thursday. Not to mention offering a fresh slate of earnings plays that we hope we’ll be proud of come Monday morning. We continued down a good path on Tuesday, laying out three quick-strike options ideas and one long-term swing idea in our premarket report. All three of the potential plays with weekly expirations produced multibag gain chances on the day, and kept things flowing in a positive direction for us.

TTOO is a NASDAQ play that we’ve been tracking for the past few weeks which has continued to tack on new highs. Subsequent to our tag of the stock in our watchlist on July 21st, we observed a low of .09 in TTOO. As of this morning’s new premarket high of .735, that marks a rise of 717%

We made some good picks for yesterday morning’s premarket report, coming up with four options trading ideas based off of the day’s earnings calendar. It was a mixed bag of calls and puts, and we fared pretty well with the whole lot of them. We’re still in the position of being right in the thick of an active quarterly earnings season, and attempting to take full advantage.
