Tuesday’s Runners, Wednesday’s Watchlist

Tuesday’s Twin Targets:

As we were mentioning in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we’re pretty thin on earnings reports from big name companies with multi-billion dollar market caps, which are typically our favorite catalysts for the kind of intraday activity that is useful to daytraders. This relative dry period will unfortunately persist until the back end of October, but, as we did yesterday, we’ll continue to hash out whatever remaining targets look best on any given morning.

Yesterday we formed a pair of potential plays, the APOG 10/20 $50-55 Calls and the DAVA 10/20 $45 Puts, and they both exhibited some nice moves for us on the day, with a double-bagger coming out of both chains. Here’s what we were working with:

APOG 10/20 $50-55 Calls
$50:
 1.70-2.50 (+47%)
$55: .05-.30 (+100%)
_____

DAVA 10/20 $45 Puts

$45: 15-.30 (+100%).

Options Clean Sweep:

We certainly hit on the options ideas that we included in yesterday morning’s premarket report, with all four of the interests on our daily slate producing big intraday moves for us. We were focusing our attention upon the SIG Weekly $69-70 Calls, the ASO Weekly $60-62 Calls, the BEKE Weekly $17.50-18 Calls, and the ADBE Weekly $345-352.50 Calls, and the results were very pleasing. Stock and Options Updates, Fresh Plays

Options Review:

Despite the fresh trading week opening up with a fizzle instead of a bang, both of the quick-strike sets of potential options targets we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report were still able to produce.

The targets in question were the DWAC Weekly $27-28 Calls, and the AZZ Weekly $40 Calls. The DWAC calls certainly came through as the top play of the day, while AZZ turned in relatively nominal gains. We’ll continue to monitor those for further activity as the week progress. In the meantime, the DWAC chain provided us with multiple multi-bag gain opportunities on the day:

DWAC Weekly $27-28 Calls
$27: 2.27-5.20 (+129%)
$27.50: 1.85-4.35 (+135%)
$28: 1.92-4.10 (+114%)
_____

AZZ Weekly $40 Calls
$40:
2.20-2.80 (+27%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
PEP Weekly $167.50-172.50 Calls
ETWO Weekly $7.50 Puts
