Tuesday’s Runners, Four Fresh Ideas

Tuesday’s Solid Options Gainers:

We were fairly light on earnings reporters yesterday morning, and not much was jumping out to us during our morning scans. This resulting in our only setting forth potential ideas for two options chains. That being said, we did see the opportunity for some very nice intraday profits with both of those ideas.

The newly presented targets in our premarket report were the GFS 11/18 $60 Calls, and the DD Weekly $62-64 Calls. Despite the longer period prior to expiration, it was the GFS Calls for next week that blasted off and provided us with a huge multibag gain chance.

Another Flip on the SPY, Fresh Ideas

Options Review:

It has been a stellar week for options trading, despite the markets having their hiccups. Yesterday was another mixed bag in terms of the overall sentiment, but both of the quick strike options plays we were tracking in our premarket report produced immediate results for us. The volatility afforded by recent market conditions has been a real plus for daytraders.

Our designated targets for yesterday’s session were the SPY 05/13 $392-389 Puts, and the DIS Weekly $101-98 Puts, and there were multi-bag intraday opportunities across the board in both ranges. Below, we’re going to flip our stance on the SPY as well, something we’ve done successfully many times in recent sessions, so be sure to read on past yesterday’s performance figures to find those fresh targets.

SPY 05/13 $392-389 Puts
$392:
 2.40-8.02 (+197%)

COIN Puts Blast Off & More

Options Review:

It was a mixed bag sort of a day for the markets yesterday, as everything traveled up in the morning and came down in the afternoon. We had options ideas on both side of the tracks which managed to produce some very nice intraday gain opportunities for us. Typically we try to select targets that we feel have a solid chance of providing the kind of volatility needed to facilitate big moves in a short time frame, and that’s why we usually stick to companies that have untraded-upon earnings.

Our earnings plays that rattled off big moves yesterday were the EA Weekly $111-113 Calls and the COIN Weekly $65-55 Puts. In the case of the COIN targets. based on this morning’s premarket activity we would expect to see even more of an increase today over the figures you’ll see below from yesterday’s session:

EA Weekly $111-113 Calls
$111:
 4.60-13.65 (+197%)
$112: 3.80-13.75 (+262%)
$113: 5.70-12.25 (+115%)
_____

COIN Weekly $65-55 Puts
$65: 6.00-15.20 (+153%)
$60: 3.30-10.80 (+227%)
$55: 1.85-7.10 (+284%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 05/13 $392-389 Puts
DIS Weekly $101-98 Puts
NICE 05/20 $185-190 Calls
HCP 07/15 $30-40 Calls
