Playing the SPY Like a Fiddle, 3 Potential Plays

Recap of Thursday’s Activity:

We don’t typically give such detailed predictions for daily market machinations as we did in our premarket report yesterday, but things played out essentially just like we expected. We mentioned that after the huge late-day rally on Wednesday, we were “anticipating the SPY to pare some of those gains early, before seeing another bounce”, and that’s just what we saw. With market volatility being what it is, we’ll continue sticking close to the SPY, just going off of our gut and the direction of the wind each morning to formulate our daily targets.

Here’s how that strategy worked out for yesterday’s SPY targets, the SPY 04/10 $532-534 Calls. We have the best intraday moves from our other idea, the KMX 04/17 $77.50-72.50 Puts as well.

SPY 04/10 $532-534 Calls
$532:
.52-2.74 (+427%)

Tuesday’s Movers, 4 New Chances

A Terrific Tuesday:

We went bearish for the second straight session on Tuesday, with regard to the array of potential options daytrades we outlined in our premarket report for the session. The markets in general did their part to help us along, continuing to crash for the first two-thirds of the day, and helping facilitate some nice moves in our designated puts. The winds seem to be blowing in a different direction this morning, so we’ll hop on some SPY Calls, and flip to the other side of the fence on some others as well today to stay with the immediate trends.

As for yesterday’s highlights, were looking at the ASAN Weekly $13.50-12.50 Puts, the DKS Weekly $205-200 Puts, the ORCL Weekly $150-145 Puts, and the FERG 03/21 $155-150 Puts. Here’s the biggest runs they exhibited on Tuesday:

Monday Review:

We were running a little light yesterday morning with respect to our our premarket report, having highlighted just a pair of potential options targets. We went with one set of weeklies, and a longer-term play, and our short-term set put up some good numbers right out of the gate.

Those big movers were the ON Weekly $73-74 Calls. We also want to swing back around for one of last week’s longer-term ideas that came to fruition, the SAP 11/15 $230-240 Calls. The figures presented there will be the lows following our alert on them last Tuesday, to yesterday morning’s highs.

Cannabis Bioscience International Holdings, Inc. (OTCMKTS:CBIH) – News Update:

More news has hit from CBIH this morning that we wanted to pass along to those of you who have been following its story with us. One of the things we like best about the way this company operates, are the frequent PR updates that it provides.

HOUSTON, July 15, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cannabis Bioscience International Holdings (OTCMKTS:CBIH) has initiated a strategic move to expand its presence in the cannabis market by filing applications for crucial licenses covering the manufacturing, production, and retail components of its cannabis product range.

Preparations are underway for the production and distribution of our products, and continue to foster revenue expansion, which could only be achieved through the practical application of the skills and experiences gained over the past 15 years. Therefore, we are now navigating the licensing phase for our manufacturing units. This involves securing permissions for the production, manufacture and provision of cannabinoid-based items.
