Kicking Off Another Trading Week, New Plays

Recapping Friday’s Performance :  

We posted good numbers all week last week, and that trend was unchanged for the options trading ideas we offered up in Friday morning’s premarket report. We had ventured possible strike areas in three separate chains, and came back with some favorable results on the day. Even on days where the earnings calendar doesn’t provide us with many opportunities, we always seem to manage.

That trio of plays from Friday consisted of the ULTA Weekly $425-427.50 Calls, the AFRM Weekly $14-15 Calls, and the HIBB 09/15 $40 Calls. Here were the intraday runs we witnessed in each of the contract sets therein:

The landscape for interesting high profile earnings reporters is essentially barren today, but we’re going to be tracking the following plays in TSLA and the SPY, a couple of chains that we’ve relied upon for big gains many times before.

Another Clean Sweep on Options:  

Looking back on our performance from this week, it’s tough to imagine doing any better than we have with our daily options plays. The ones we included in yesterday morning’s premarket report fared quite well, and sent us into the end of another excellent week with barely a blemish on our record. We offered up five possibilities for our readers, and all five produced significant positive intraday movement.

Five Fresh Plays to Close Out a Good Week

Solid Options Runners from Thursday:

While we didn’t quite get a clean sweep on our earnings related options ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we did manage to find some fairly big runners in three out of the five selections we made for the day. The SPY Calls stood out, with the markets logging a seriously bullish session all day long, which facilitated some solid double bag runs, but the ideas we had in SNOW were the real winners.

The quick-strike targets that really produced for us were the SPY 08/26 $413-415 Calls, the SNOW Weekly $187.50-192.50 Calls, and the DLTR Weekly $155-150 Puts, which recorded the following intraday activity:
