Friday’s Multi-Baggers, Trio of New Ideas

Reviewing Friday’s Winners:

Friday was a bloody red day for the markets in general, with a gap-down in the morning and a steady decline throughout the day. Luckily for us, most of the targets that we formulated in Friday’s premarket report were bearish in nature, and each of the ranges of puts that we selected exhibited some great intraday upswings.

The plays in question were the DASH Weekly $82-81 Puts, the ADBE Weekly $537.50-530 Puts, and the LEN Weekly $117-115 Puts and the potential gains they afforded traders were certainly nothing to sneeze at. Check out the breakdown of their daily moves:

We got things back on track in terms of options trading ideas yesterday morning. We included a trio of potential plays, and were happy to see a lot of good activity, with winners across the board. It’s a good way to head into the end of the week as we attempt to do it one more time this morning. Midweek Updates, Trio of New Ideas

Midweek Options Recaps:

We offered up a pair of short term and a pair of longer term ideas in our premarket report yesterday, and as is pretty typical, we saw some good movement out of the weekly plays, and not so much instant gratification from those that expire next month. We usually gravitate to those kind of ideas during earnings low periods, and we certainly have been short on big name reporters this week. But we’ll continue to monitor those interests into October, and keep trying to point out whatever looks best to us on a daily basis.

As for yesterday’s weekly plays, which were the CBRL Weekly $70-75 Calls and the BUR Weekly $17.50-15 Puts, we observed the following intraday trading activity and gain potential:

CBRL Weekly $70-75 Calls
$70:
 3.00-4.20 (+40%)
$75: 1.09-2.66 (+144%)
_____

BUR Weekly $17.50-15 Puts

$15: .05-.10 (+100%)

Tuesday Recaps, Fresh Ideas

Two for Tuesday:

We fared reasonably well yesterday, having selected a trio of potential plays for our premarket report. While we didn’t manage a clean sweep on that, two out of three isn’t half bad, and our moving targets produced a very solid performance on the session. We also had a solid NASDAQ play pop off of the extended watchlist, so all in all we’re in pretty good shape as we cross this week’s midpoint.

Yesterday’s movers and shakers were the ORCL Weekly $117-115 Puts and the NVDA Weekly $455-450 Puts, and here are the total possible gains they facilitated on Tuesday: .

ORCL Weekly $117-115 Puts

_____

NVDA Weekly $455-450 Puts
$455:
 6.69-10.66 (+59%)
