Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MJMI Recap, Options Idea & More

MarilynJean Interactive, Inc. MJMI

Our first order of business this morning is to rehash the recent performance of what has become one of our best picks of this month on the stock side of things. We first alerted MJMI exactly three weeks ago on the 4th, and would subsequently observe a low of .091 the very next session, from which the stock hasn’t looked back.

Volume has been excellent during the entire fifteen-session span that we’ve tracked the stock, and yesterday MJMI reached an amazing new high of .575. That works out to a fantastic increase of 532% in a relatively short time. A quick peek at the chart below shows the incredible move clearly.

In the event of a pullback off of this latest spike, we’ll be looking for the stock to maintain support at or above the 200DMA of .353.

Xtera Communications, Inc. XCOM

We’re always on the lookout for a good bottom-bouncer, and it appears that we’ve found an interesting candidate this morning, which has just undergone a crazy 48 hours.

The stock made a huge run yesterday off of its recently established annual lows, filling the gap on the chart and then some, before settling into close in the fifty-cent range. This morning in the premarket we’ve seen the stock changing hands in the .60-.74 range, so we’re very interested to see how the activity will unfold in-session.

We’ll want to see this morning’s premarket low of .60 hold as support on any pullbacks.

Boston Therapeutics, Inc. BTHE

We also want to provide a quick update on BTHE today, which was a mention in yesterday’s extended watchlist.

Despite not seeing any liquidity in the early part of the morning, eventually the wheels began to turn, and we saw a nice afternoon run from .125 to .17; an intraday upswing of 36%

Fresh Options Idea: Tiffany & Co. Just beat on earnings this morning, so we’ll be montioring the TIF Weekly $71-74 Calls for potential daytrades and/or swing trades into tomorrow.

Extended Watchlist:
NYMX, RGIN, NTEK, AXMM, SPHS, NETE

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Weekly Wrap-up, Fresh Ideas

Evoke Pharma, Inc. EVOK

Leading into yesterday’s session, some people might have looked at a gapped-down, backsliding, new 52-week low play like EVOK, and dismissed it out of hand. Those people would have missed out on the prime opportunity we provided our readers in tagging the stock for observation in yesterday’s premarket report.

Whenever we see a stock showing any indication of bounce activity off of an annual low, it puts us on high alert, and plays like EVOK are the reason for that. The stock traded in a range from 2.51 up to 3.28, a solid single-session swing amounting to 31% and it appears as if the massive gap on the chart beginning at 3.50 is already in the process of being filled, with the stock trading as high as 3.70 in early trading this morning.

We want to see the premarket low of 3.15 hold as support on any pullbacks in order to sustain our immediate interest in EVOK.

______

Added Notes:
Tokai Pharmaceuticals. Inc. TKAI and CytRx Corp. CYTR – These plays are currently boasting charts that are incredibly similar to the situation we found EVOK in yesterday, with major gap-downs leading to new lows, with a hint of bounce activity in yesterday’s session. We’re going to place these stocks on alert this morning as well.

Tempur Sealy International, Inc. TPX – Options Idea

Yesterday, as we caught TPX coming off of an earnings beat, we wanted to put a range of call contracts on watch to leverage the expected subsequent activity to our advantage. Due to the fact that there were no weekly calls to track, we submitted a longer-term set of contracts, yet the gain opportunities were immediate.

Our target calls, the TPX 08/19 $70-80 Calls, all made appreciable moves on the day:

$70 Calls – Range: 3.00-5.40 – Max Gain: 80%
$75 Calls – Range:  .90-1.96 – Max Gain: 118%
$80 Calls – Range: .25-.40 – Max Gain: 60%

We’ll continue to monitr these plays in the week ahead leading into their expiration.

____

Fresh Idea:
Expert traders may want to take a look at AMZN Weekly $762.50-770 Calls for potential daytrades today on the heels of yesterday’s post-market earnings beat.

North Springs Resources Corp. NSRS

NSRS was also an item of interest from yesterday’s report, having been entered into the extended watchlist as a potential bottom-bouncer. We got just the type of rebound we were after, as the stock traded up from a low of .033 to a high of .043. That was good for a nice 30% gain opportunity, and the stock will remain on our radar provided it can continue to build a higher base level of support off of its bottom.

Extended Watchlist:
DNRG, SING, VHUB, SPHS, SPU, MCRB(Watching for Bottom)

We’re circling back around to NEWC this morning on the heels of an untraded upon press release that just hit the wires. More Updates:

Sophiris Bio, Inc. SPHS

We’ve been tracking SPHS all week so far, and have been met with a good opportunity for some quick profits. Subsequent to our mention in Monday’s report, we’d witness a low of 4.92 in the stock, followed by a 22% run to 5.98. Then yesterday, it held support at 5.88 as it came down slightly before jumping up to a new high of 8.55, which also happens to be the stock’s new 52-week high.

It marked an intraday run of 45% and a two-day upswing of 74% over our observed low from Monday.

______

Weyland Tech, Inc. WEYL

We tagged this play on Friday (Low of 2.10), and then again in yesterday’s newsletter, and the performance we’ve seen thus far has been respectable.

Yesterday WEYL traded up from a daily low of 2.17 to a high of 2.80, representing a daily run of 29%, and an overall increase of 33% from Friday’s low.
______

Exact Sciences Corp. EXAS

We also had EXAS in yesterday’s report, and the stock made a modest move of 20% from a low of 14.57-17.47. Not the magnitude of gains that we typically hope for, but considering the price range, a 20% intraday pop is nothing to sneeze at.

We signaled a range of calls in the TXN options chain yesterday morning to correspond with the company’s earnings beat, and the chances it churned out were very nice.
