Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ENPH Review & More

Aytu BioScience, Inc. AYTU

We’ve done our best this week in reminding readers that our interest in AYTU was not a drill. Beginning from our initial alert in last Wednesday’s premarket report, the stock was exhibiting all the signs of a recovery play.

Yesterday we reiterated our interest for the second time this week, mentioning how the stock had already come a considerable distance from our observed  low of .4118, and that it had picked up momentum on Monday, and that more gains could be in store.

We were right on the money as the stock extended its recent gains yesterday running to a new high of .76, which represents a five day swing of 85%

Enphase Energy, Inc. ENPH

Recently, we have had quite a few plays we’ve signaled within the past couple of months, exhibit really convincing, sustained uptrends, and ENPH is another one to put in that category.

While our most recent mention of the stock came on March 19th, in the midst of the current run as a reminder, our initial call came on February 28th.  On that day, the stock saw a low of 3.07 and hasn’t looked back since.

Yesterday, ENPH surged to a new high of 5.58, marking a respectable one month run of 82% during which time volume has also been greatly increased.

Enphase Energy, Inc. ENPH – Review

We have been exceedingly pleased with the recent performance of ENPH, which, despite recent volatility in the markets at large, has been on an incredible bull run for several weeks. We alerted our readers to ENPH’s momentum on the last day of February, and in the two trading weeks since then, the stock has barely skipped a beat.

From a low of 3.07 on the morning of our initial alert, we’ve seen ENPH steadily rise, leading to a new high of 4.74 on Friday. That works out to a very solid run of 54% In the last week especially , the stock showed little sign of slowing down, so we’ll be interested to see where its fortunes take it this week.

Walmart, Inc. WMT – Options Review

We’ve been tracking a wide range of extended-term WMT Calls since the middle of last week, the WMT 04/20 $95-97.50 Calls. We wanted to provide a quick update on the moves we had witnessed by the end of the week.

At the bottom of the range, the $95 Calls ran from .25 to .51 for a gain of 104%  At the top, we saw the $97.50’s rise from .11 to .24, a 118% rip. The four sets of contracts in between those two also produced opportunities at commensurate profits. With plenty of time prior to expiration, we’ll leave these contracts on our radar and continue to monitor them as we kick off a fresh trading week.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY)

As you are probably aware the SPY (the markets as a whole) had been on a historic run starting in early 2016 which persisted through January of this year, when we experienced some of the biggest selloffs in market history. The SPY began to rebound earlier this month, and was making a pretty good run at a recovery until yesterday brought another significant backslide.

Despite yesterday’s hiccup, the SPY has been in a general uptrend for the last couple of weeks, and today, it looks like we could resume the path toward ascension. We’ll be ;looking for the markets to go green today, which could produce some notable opportunities in the SPY 02/28 $275-276 Calls*.

*Please note that these contracts expire today, thus the associated risk is that of trading weekly options on a Friday. It should never be attempted unless you are an expert level trader with disposable funds.

The TJX Companies, inc. TJX

TJX is exhibiting a considerable surge in premarket trading today. Despite missing EPS estimates in their Q4 earnings call, the stock is gapping up to the tune of 8% this morning.

When we see a monster gapper like this, we generally look to signal a range of options calls that will come into play in a dip-and-rip scenario, which are quite common in instances such as these. We will be tracking the TJX 03/16 $80-85 Calls.
